McFarland Ford - Rochester, NH I recently bought a 2020 F150 xlt. Paid top dollar. Signed the papers on a Friday night. Asked to make sure it had two key fobs. Ben said it would be taken care of. Ben as F150 xlt. Paid top dollar. Signed the papers on a Friday night. Asked to make sure it had two key fobs. Ben said it would be taken care of. Ben asked if I wanted to take it home. I was told by Robbie earlier that it has not been in the shop yet, so Ben offered Saturday. I said Monday night so they would have plenty of time to get it in and out of the shop. Called Monday – not ready. Called Tuesday – not ready. Called on Wednesday and they said it was ready. I asked about the second key fob and Robbie said they didn’t have any ‘spares’(?). So, how do I get one? He said from a Ford dealer. Aren’t you a Ford dealer? So, rather than Ben ‘taking care of it’, Robbie quotes me a price of $363. So, I bought it. I went to pick the truck up and it was not ready. They reset the system and ‘didn’t have time’ to drive the necessary miles in order to do the inspection. Robbie said bring it back whenever and they’ll put a sticker on it. I went to pay for the extra key fob and was told it was $427. I complained to Ben, and he worked it so I paid the agree $363 (that Ben was supposed to take care of). I went to leave and try the remote starter, and of course, there is no remote starter, even though it was advertised with one. I insisted that I had paid for one and wanted it, so Ben said they would put an after market remote starter in. I explained that I wanted it integrated with the current key fob (like my previous one). They said come back and they would put it in and give the inspection. Two days later I went back for the remote starter and inspection sticker and pointed out there was a crack in the windshield. Ben insisted that must have happened at the time I had the truck. He gave me no joy and no shared responsibility even though it could not be determined when the crack happened. Got there for a 9:00 AM appointment for the ½ hour job to put in the starter and at noon, Robbie comes over and says its finished and has two extra fobs. I reminded him I want it integrated with my key fob and he said, ‘I like this better’. They did not give me the inspection. I then went to register the truck and found that they never gave me the paperwork I needed. Robbie then had to drive to my town hall to deliver it to me. I then went to get the inspection sticker on my own and discovered the rear brake pads were shot. So, I had to have those done. So, paid top dollar for the truck, then had to pay: $363 for a key fob $500 deductible for a new windshield $45 for an inspection sticker $183 for rear brake pads That’s $1,091 extra. Am I supposed to be happy about my experience? More

This dealership has a sales department full of crooks. The only good people there left years ago. They inflate prices of documentation fees and inspections. My lease buyout was quoted at $1500 more tha The only good people there left years ago. They inflate prices of documentation fees and inspections. My lease buyout was quoted at $1500 more than my contracted fee and I was told from Ford Corporation that each dealership sets their own prices and they have no say over what each dealership does. McFarland called these fees "inpection fees" and "documentation fees" and that was the extent of the explanation. I realize that the car business has suffered a bit, as have we all. The fact that they can add any fees at any amount for any reason is disgusting to me, Crooks - Don't go to this dealership. More
Warranty repair work from this dealership is a waste of time. They can’t even follow the simple TSB procedures as defined by Ford to correct known issues. I have shown up to 3 appointments with no resoluti time. They can’t even follow the simple TSB procedures as defined by Ford to correct known issues. I purchased a 2015 Ford F-150 on 9/23/22 and even though it had 102,000 miles on it, it has run great. I have driven it over 1,000 miles. This was an easy and very fair purchase. I’m 23 and I’ve never owned my own car. McFarland made it super easy and convenient. It maybe took 2 hours, I was so surprised after my mom telling me we would probably be there all day. I paid an extra $400 super easy and convenient. It maybe took 2 hours, I was so surprised after my mom telling me we would probably be there all day. I paid an extra $400 to be able to have my car serviced three times within the next year for free - great deal!! ALSO, I went to get my oil changed and state inspection and I still had my new stickers on my registration. Without even me having to ask they put them on for me while servicing my car! Top rated service, I was so happy! I’ll be sticking with McFarland even after my year of free service is up. More
Just purchased a truck today from the good folks at McFarland Ford. The entire sales and finance team was extremely professional, courteous and most critically unlike other dealers in this crazy time McFarland Ford. The entire sales and finance team was extremely professional, courteous and most critically unlike other dealers in this crazy time McFarland provided an extremely competitive deal at a few cents under MSRP. They also gave me what I thought was a very fair value for my trade, even with a bit of damage to the tailgate, when compared to values on KBB and other sites. I am glad I traveled up from MA to buy the truck, they have sold me on being a customer for life. In fact, my wife and daughter were wondering if they could order a new Bronco! I may be back soon!
