Having one of the best salesmen working with me makes the experience of buying a new vehicle so much nicer and the process goes smoothy! Ronald Lawrence has been my salesman for the past 15 years. He is passionate about his job and knows the business. He listens to his customers and gives them the best experience when it comes to buying a vehicle. I don’t know anyone that enjoys sitting in a dealership waiting for hours. I don’t but, Ronald and the staff work hard to get you out as quickly as possible with the vehicle that you want! Dear McElveen Buick GMC I have previously purchased my current truck. After receiving nonstop messages from you about coming in to trade my truck I finally decided to swing the almost 2 hours down to see current truck. After receiving nonstop messages from you about coming in to trade my truck I finally decided to swing the almost 2 hours down to see what you have. Upon arriving, I am bombarded with a very aggressive salesman who proceeded to block my truck with his golf cart. Tell me what to do, and not listen to a word I said about what I wanted. I explained I wanted to walk around to see what you have, he proceeded to tell me I needed to go inside to look at a computer. I again said I wanted to walk around, he insisted I ride in his golf cart. Then when me and my friends whom were with me went ahead and proceeded to walk around to physically look at the vehicles, he proceeded to try to show me what he wanted to sell to me. Not what I preferred to look at. Despite me stating that I was not interested in certain vehicles. So we were about to leave at this point when I seen another salesman, & asked him to please show us around where we can walk around. He did apologize for the aggressiveness from The first salesman. I was interested in a vehicle (thank goodness I didn't get it after doing further research). Well, after a test drive, we went to discuss numbers. Wellllllll I'm unsure if your people were upset because the first salesman was no longer working with us or what, but the very insulting numbers they offered me for my truck (which is valued at just below 50k per kbb and nada mind you) then refusing to even discuss Those very insulting numbers. I'm unsure if this is how you treat women who come into your "fine" establishment without men or not. But I will no longer continue to recommend your dealership to my friends as I have over the years, nor will ever be a returning customer again. Not only was the way your employees treated us women with the aggressiveness uncalled for and quite frankly very intimidating, but the numbers people were extremely rude as well. It's sad because when I purchased my truck from y'all in the past I had such a warm welcoming experience. I have sent countless people to you over the years, some of which left with vehicles. But I guess that experience was due to the fact I had a man with me, considering the only major difference between then and now, is the fact that today was three women, and before I had a man with me. Never ever buy from this dealership. Bought 2 cars in the past year. Daughters first car. She moved to Texas. Air Conditioning went out in one week. In shop for 3 weeks. I asked on the demo dry if air conditioning was working properly. Was told yes. Second bought car, we’ve had for 2 months. Been in the shop for 2 weeks with a transmission problem, as well as other issues. Both newer model cars. Don’t trust them. More

Not only was he knowledgeable, polite and friendly, he was so easy to work with: no pressure! He made the process go so smoothly...he even took the items out of my old car and put then in my new car! What a gentlemen! A pat on the back also goes to Terry, the Certified Tech Expert! Before I drove off in my beautiful new car, she sat in the car and explained everything from how to set the seats to the many touch screen options! Wow! What patience !! How lucky McElveen is to have these two gems on their amazing team which includes the receptionist to the business office !! More

I will highly recommend him to my friends. Terry provided a most excellent technology overview of the vehicle in both a personal and expert manner. This is my third vehicle purchased at this dealership and continue to find it family and service oriented. I have already and will continue to recommend it to my friends and colleagues. They suck in every way fast to get you to sighn papers and tke your money!!! It's like pulling teeth to get anything done after that...always get an answering machine..no return calls..takes weeks to get and tke your money!!! I want the title and tags to my truck, they always have an excuse and ignore me after I have been there saying they will call back, it is just another ploy to divert your attention , they act like spending $33,000 is nothing but to me that's a good chunk of my savings.. Beware of this dealership they don't tell the truth and really don't try to work with you. I am a 77 year old Retire Navy Veteran 3 tours in Viet Nam and have never been so disappointed in n the courtesy that is shown to Vets. Yet they fly the Big Flag wanting you to believe were here to help Veterans This is pure BS they sold me a truck without having a tittle in hand, sounds like a very underhanded deal. The people at the dealership were nice. The buying experience was good until. The car we bought was taken for a test drive on a cold day. So the air conditioner in the car was not checked. A day or so later the temperature was warmer so we turned on the air conditioner to find out it didn’t work. We contacted the dealership. They inspected it to say they would charge $1200 to fix it. To me they should repair the car that was purchased a just a couple of days ago but they aren’t. So with that said. This is what is wrong in this world. A multi million dollar company will not man up and do the right thing for the little guy. It all about greed. No plans to ever purchase from them again and would advise anyone else that may be considering them to understand how they operate. More
