Best experience at a dealership EVER My mother was involved in a bad wreck earlier in the summer. Thankfully she was ok, but she lost her car that she really liked and was very proud of. She was angry, frustrated, and very upset as things were straightened out with the insurance companies. Gerald Wells went above and beyond to help my mother find a new used car that she was happy with and could be proud of again. He was very patient and helpful, never once got "pushy". Every question, big or small, he made sure was answered. He, and everyone that my mother and I dealt with at McDonough Toyota were friendly and took whatever time was necessary to be sure my mother was happy and satisfied with her new car. They will treat you like 2nd class citizens I bought a new Scion FR-S in July 2016 from Steven Toyota, very very nice friendly people. That dealer is located in Harrisonburg and I live in Staunt I bought a new Scion FR-S in July 2016 from Steven Toyota, very very nice friendly people. That dealer is located in Harrisonburg and I live in Staunton. So I don't want to make a trip to Harrisonburg every time for service, inspections, etc. I decided to take my car to McDonough Toyota for services. I have owned my car for 11 months… take it for inspection and after a 1 hour 45 minute wait they never called my name, I had to go to the front desk. Finally, they fail my car over a mis-aligned headlight (never ever did I touch the Headlights or Tail Lights)???A phantom exhaust leak and a couple bulbs that were out (only thing that turned out to be true). They treat you like second class citizens if you didn't purchase the car from them which is a crying shame. I will NEVER go back and NEVER reccommed anyone to go there for purchases or services. Very very unfair. The Toyota dealership in Staunton puts the UGH in McDonoUGH. EAT IT More

A great and friendly experience! I have always driven by the dealership but never stopped by. This is until I decided to trade in my Toyota Tacoma and get a Tundra. One day I decided to stop by to see if I can find the trim level I was looking for and to see if they can make me a decent offer on my trade and I am so happy I did! Becky Long was ready to talk to me right away in spite of the fact that I didn't have a previous appointment. She showed me a few models which I was interested in. She also took my trade to be appraised. Then she worked with me on finding the truck I wanted and ordered it and made sure I got the best price I could have wanted for my trade and my new purchase. She was always in a good mood and worked tirelessly. Communication was great and fast and led to satisfying results. The general manager of the place was a treat to deal with and do business with. And even when Steve and Becky were out of the office for a day they made an appointment for me with Gary who was also very attentive, respectful, and helpful. I walked in there to get a truck and I ended up getting a great truck and made some great friends. Thanks a million, Becky and Steve! More

Wonderful Extended Family I purchased my 2017 Rav 4 from Gary Eavey on Saturday. He let me drive several models on the lot. We discussed the pros and cons of each car I drove. He listened to everything I had to say and offered a great deal of advise as if I was one of his family members. I did not feel at anytime that I had to make a decision on the spot. He let me know about the interest rates and that was really my determining factor except for the fact that I love the Rav 4's. Gary spent about an hour with me after the deal was complete to show me all of the electronics and safety features on the Rav 4. His main goal was to make sure I felt safe operating the vehicle since it has a lot of safety features that I am not use to having. I appreciate working with him and I feel like I am apart of the extended Toyota Family! More
