Best car-buying experience ever!!!!! I traded in a VW Passat for a Toyota Camry and soooooooooo glad I did! Shawn Showalter is very knowledgeable and actually listened to all of my concerns. I never felt pressured. I had done a lot of research and found that McDonough was very honest with pricing and trade in values. They have stood behind everything they said as well. I test drove several cars and was also test driving cars in a neighboring dealership for Honda vehicles. Both Jeff and Richard were great to work with. I came back to Toyota due to the excellent service and the deal that my husband & I rec. with the car we purchased. It isn't every day that you get a quote from a dealership and when you enter the "finance room" the dealership had worked out an even Better rate than quoted. That NEVER happens! Don, who has been with the dealership for 25+ years has the desire to work with you on the financial terms and the industry knowledge to make it all work out as you intended. I have visited just about all of the dealers in the area and the trend seems to be going towards the bigger corporate dealership where honesty and customer experience are compromised. I went to a car dealership in Staunton but my first impression of it was not very good. It didn't look clean and they didn't have much of a selection. So, that's when I decided to go to McDonough Toyota. The first person I spoke to was Richard Harlow. He made me feel comfortable right away. He was very kind and willing to help me in any way. This is my first experience getting a car. Needless to say I didn't know much about the process. Richard Harlow was very thorough in explaining all the details. He said "help me help you" He listened to what I had to say and him and the employees went above and beyond to get me in a car the next day. I felt like I had someone with me in every step of the process. The service at McDonough Toyota is excellent in quality, knowledge, and friendliness. They have a vast array of vehicles to choose from. The store is kept well maintained and clean. I will recommend McDonough Toyota to all my friends and family for their future investments in vehicles. I walked away a happy customer and will continue to go back for many years to come. More

The staff was very knowledgeable about the cars they had and they didn't attack you like most dealerships. Mr. Dennis Stokes was our favorite part about the visit (other than our new Scion haha.) He was absolutely amazing. He helped answer all the questions we had and did everything he could to make sure we left happy, including order the car we needed. Dennis is one of those great but rare people that goes above and beyond his job expectations to ensure his customers are 110% happy. From now on, I am absolutely positive I'll be a loyal customer with McDonough Toyota! More

Upon pick-up, the vehicle looked brand new (we bought used) after the great work from the detailing crew.
