On my first visit, my service was quick and efficient. This second trip my service took 4 hours ( I was told it would take 2 hours). I bought my car BRAND NEW off the lot less than a year ago. Part of the reason I went with Hyundai is their “incredible” warranty. Well, my undercarriage tray fell off on the passenger side & Hyundai refu ago. Part of the reason I went with Hyundai is their “incredible” warranty. Well, my undercarriage tray fell off on the passenger side & Hyundai refused to make it right & replace it. They said it’s not covered under warranty because they can’t prove I “didn’t hit something”, meanwhile they can’t prove that I did! The tray wasn’t mangled or bent, or folded into itself, simply hanging down off the car. Not only that, but it took 3 weeks to get an appointment to begin with which did cause scratching of the tray since it was hanging down. Had I not paid this car off already, I would give it back to them. Be warned. More

This is the first time that I’ve had any dealings with McDonough Hyundai. Most likely it will be the last. The lack of communication was overwhelming. They’re failing to follow up on what they said they were going to do was continuous. After having to chase them down repeatedly, we were finally able to get Some type of communication. My car was in the shop for one and a half months while my blown engine was replaced. when I was finally able to bring my car home, I looked in the trunk to find the pan that goes underneath the engine in my trunk. The most redeeming part of our relationship is when we were finally able to talk with the service manager, Steve, who took the matter in hand and had someone come to my home and pick up my vehicle to take it back and have the part installed and then returned my vehicle in a very short amount of time. keeping in mind we live 40 minutes away from the dealership. I thought all was well and was pleased with the way it turned it out, only to find after driving the vehicle that there is a strong smell of exhaust inside my car and now will probably have to take it back to have that dealt with. much to my dismay. We will see how they deal with this issue because it did not have an exhaust leak before they change the engine. I am very hesitant to leave my car with them again because of the unknown time to repair it and the unknown seemingly unavailable communication. More
Disappointed in the way our tire problem was handled on our car we purchased there. We also took out the extra warranty insurance in case a problem like this came up.
