Psyched I stopped by to check it out I was on my way to buy a Crosstrek, but decided to stop by to check out a Mazda CX-5. I test drove it and the handling, pickup, and gearing felt more I was on my way to buy a Crosstrek, but decided to stop by to check out a Mazda CX-5. I test drove it and the handling, pickup, and gearing felt more responsive than the Crosstrek. I also liked the larger rear cargo capacity and towing capacity (since we live in the mountains, towing small loads is a frequent affair). It wasn't just the specs on the vehicle that sold me. Aspen was super receptive to my needs, and we negotiated the features I really wanted. I’m not big on the ‘technology’ packages, but what I wanted was heated seats and to walk away with a payment similar to the Crosstrek, and Aspen made it all happen. I’ve had the chance to test the CX-5 in true mountain conditions, and I’m super happy with its performance. it is quiet inside in rough dirt roads, and the lights are great for seeing Elk on the side of the road. More
