I purchashed a used car in March 2010 and I was having problems with it every since. They could never find the problem, but I have another car and I am thankful for that. Tom is the reason I now use McDonald's as my dealership. I started bringing my original vehicle (from another dealer) in for service years ago. Tom was the service person who greeted me with a smile. Tom explained the problem and charges and took care of the issue. My car was fixed very well and a follow up was done to make sure I was happy. When it was time to get a new vehicle, Tom introduced me to a salesperson and history was made. If it had not been for the good customer service I received from Tom and his crew, I probably would not be a customer. I just recently brought my car in and all was done promptly and professionally. I had been hit by another driver and I suffered body damage to my truck. I had been recommeded to McDonald Pontiac by a friend. Though there was trouble with the work that had initially been done. Hello. Tuesday evening, I stopped at McDonald to Hello. Tuesday evening, I stopped at McDonald to purchase some touch up paint for my 2002 black Cadillac Sedan DeVille. My cadillac is used regula Hello. Tuesday evening, I stopped at McDonald to purchase some touch up paint for my 2002 black Cadillac Sedan DeVille. My cadillac is used regularly in funeral processions so it has to look good all the time. I was initially pleased to be given a free bottle of touch up paint from Trina. I expected to at least be charged for it. Grateful and with thorough instructions, I returned home where I began to use the touch up paint. All was going well until I reached the back quarter panel of my car. I touched up a spot and I put too much paint on. I tried to wipe it off but the surface just got rough. So, I painted over it again. I was horrified to see what a mess I had made. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night and was anxious and agonizing over what to do next. I stopped back into McDonald the next morning and Terry waited on me. I asked him to look at the botched paint job I did. At first, he didn't think anything could be done since the paint had dried. Then he said, "let me try something". He then returned with a can of thinner and totally erased the layers of paint I had put on the car! Not only that, he then went and got some rubbing compound and took the spot out that I was trying to cover up with paint in the first place. I was never so relieved to not only see my mistake corrected but fixed as well. Thank you Trina and Terry for going above and beyond the call of duty. It is noticed and appreciated. More

It always seemed that the dealership would have a great sales staff and then I would find out that the service was unnaceptable, or vice-versa. That is until in 2007 I made my first purchase from MacDonald Cadillac in Saginaw Michigan, who still suprises me with the best sales and service that i have ever experienced. Being a farmer and owning several tractors and various machinery, I have come to expect fast and accurate service diagnosis when i have a mechanical problem, and when i am dealing with weather and a certain window of time to harvest my crop you quickly learn which dealers stand out in the crowd, and i have finally found that hidden gem for my auto sales and service at McDonald, located in Saginaw Michigan, and would highly recomend this dealership to anyone who wants to have their vehicle diagnosed and repaired properly with only one visit, because for me time truley is money and and this dealership knows how to get it done Bernie Bittner President: Bittner Farms More
I received prompt and polite service. I felt "total honesty" in what needed to be done to my car after I had an oil change was lacking. When I told the consultant I had gotten another opinion regardin honesty" in what needed to be done to my car after I had an oil change was lacking. When I told the consultant I had gotten another opinion regarding a leak and looked underneath and talked to the mechanic, I was not happy. The mechanic told me they had a new mechanic who did not know the difference between a leak and seepage. Really!!! Everyone I have told this story to has gotten quite a chuckle out of it. I also felt I should know exactly what GM was being billed for the service I received since the car is "certified". The consultant gave me an estimate of the work to be done (which I still question if it was legit.) totaling approx. $500. The "seepage" did not of course have to be repaired. The quote was given before the consultant knew the car was "Certified". I think basically the problem stems from my being over 55 and a woman. More
From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was treated with respect. The service was outstanding! Their shuttle service took me to work AND picked me up --- on time, too. The repair was completed in a timely manner and when I arrived to pick up the car, it had been hand-washed and vacuumed...a very nice touch. Angie was very thorough with explaining the repairs and kept me informed of the status. Kris (the cashier) made the whole experience of having to pay for the repairs a bit less painful with her smile and friendliness. She should be Employee of the Month every month, in my opinion! I would definitely recommend the McDonald dealership to anyone who wants to feel like a VIP. More
