I wasted about 3 hours earlier in the day at another dealership. They were not giving me a fair deal on my trade in, the price of the vehicle increased by 2500 from when I called that morning and in gen dealership. The moment I stopped at McDonald, Rick was friendly and knowledgeable. McDonald gave me a fair price on my trade in right away, the price of my certified used vehicle was reasonable and the staff was wonderful to work with from the sales staff to the financial. Overall the experience was great and the dealership gave me the immediate impression it was a higher class reputable dealership. I will always give McDonald an opportunity for all my future vehicles. I called my husband and told he about the crossover,the next day we went to saginaw,he test drove the velical,and bought it an hour later. Jeff was very friendly and accomodating. The day I purchased the vehicle I was pulled over as one of the headlights were burnt out. I knew that I would be looking for one at McDonald Cadillac GMC as they were the dealership in the area. I had heard nothing but positive feedback from family and friends about the sales and service at McDonald Cadillac GMC - and they were right! Everyone that I came in contact with at the dealership was very pleasant and professional. I would especially like to thank my salesperson, Chuck Latty, for such a pleasurable buying experience. Chuck did a wonderful job from the moment I inquired about Acadia information, through the test drives, ordering and actual vehicle delivery. He respected the fact that I had done my homework before I arrived and knew what I wanted. He was not pushy, as salesmen are stereotyped, but professional, respectful and pleasant. On the day of vehicle delivery, everyone worked together to get my vehicle ready as I had running boards added to my vehicle and other services completed. Everyone worked hard to get my vehicle completed that same day so I wouldn't have to come back at another time. Chuck went above and beyond that day - showing me the actual running boards under my own vehicle before they were installed - let alone staying after the dealership closed (when he could have been going home to his family) to orient me to my vehicle and get my OnStar set up. I also watched the special attention to detail he gave to my vehicle during delivery as he opened the doors with a cloth so there wouldn't be any fingerprints on the chrome. Chuck is a positive asset to McDonald Cadillac GMC and it was an honor to meet him. You don't meet people like that often in life.
