I knew that I would be looking for one at McDonald Cadillac GMC as they were the dealership in the area. I had heard nothing but positive feedback from family and friends about the sales and service at McDonald Cadillac GMC - and they were right! Everyone that I came in contact with at the dealership was very pleasant and professional. I would especially like to thank my salesperson, Chuck Latty, for such a pleasurable buying experience. Chuck did a wonderful job from the moment I inquired about Acadia information, through the test drives, ordering and actual vehicle delivery. He respected the fact that I had done my homework before I arrived and knew what I wanted. He was not pushy, as salesmen are stereotyped, but professional, respectful and pleasant. On the day of vehicle delivery, everyone worked together to get my vehicle ready as I had running boards added to my vehicle and other services completed. Everyone worked hard to get my vehicle completed that same day so I wouldn't have to come back at another time. Chuck went above and beyond that day - showing me the actual running boards under my own vehicle before they were installed - let alone staying after the dealership closed (when he could have been going home to his family) to orient me to my vehicle and get my OnStar set up. I also watched the special attention to detail he gave to my vehicle during delivery as he opened the doors with a cloth so there wouldn't be any fingerprints on the chrome. Chuck is a positive asset to McDonald Cadillac GMC and it was an honor to meet him. You don't meet people like that often in life. I am extremely pleased with the exceptional experience I had at McDonald Cadillac GMC. I've never been treated so well when buying a new vehicle. McDonald Cadillac GMC is truly the best! After some preliminary comparison on information inquired from a dealer in Lansing for RX 350 and McDonal Caddilac in Saginaw township for SRX, we went on visiting McDonal Caddilac first for the convenience being in town. My first impression was that the newly rennovated showroom was bright and air-fresh, space-comfortable even with several other customers visiting at the same time. Very comfy, indeed. All the folks I encountered, salesperson and assisting staff alike, were very friendly and helpful. My sales rep was Jeff Barnhart, a very likeable fellow. Instead of trying to sell us a vehicle, Jeff did an excellent job to facilitate the process for us to reach informed decisions that would best serve our interest. One thing I'm particularly impressed about Jeff was his true respect for the intellegence of his customers. He conciously focused his role on assisting customers with all needed information so that customers can reach their own conclusion as what best satisfy their needs. The respect, not pressure, made our buying experience really joyful. We ended up deciding to pursue the deal with McDonal Caddilac without visiting the Lexus dealer. After three visits within the week, we cheerfully drove home the 2010 Caddilac SRX AWD.
