This is the second time that I have used this dealership for a problem. I dont' have exact date for the initial concern of being told by a service advisor to please go back and rate him higher on my survey. for a problem. I dont' have exact date for the initial concern of being told by a service advisor to please go back and rate him higher on my survey. I stood in complete disbelief that I was being asked to do that. I explained it was over the lousy phone service and getting someone to answer. Didn't matter. Was even less impressed with a so called manager called me to address my review and pretty much backed the advisor. Swore I would never use them again. Now to today I have an issue that I was told only could be fixed by a dealership. The truck was diagnosed already. I called This dealership on a Monday 2/7/22 and told the " call center" what the problem was. I was told I would get a call back. Never heard back and called again on 2/11/22 to try again. I was told that I would have to bring the truck in to be diagnosed and they were 5 days behind. I said that is fine. They made me an appointment for 2/21/22 @ 10 am. I drove to the dealership expecting that they would diagnose my truck for me. I was met by an advisor and was told sorry I would have to leave the truck with them for 24-48 hours. They would have it done sometime in that frame. I looked at him and asked why was this appointment made. He said to see what the complaint is with the truck. I said I told the person on the phone all that already. He goes well that is our call center and they should have advised you that you would need to leave it with us. He was sorry but that is the way they run that program of diagnosing. I asked since I only have one vehicle how I was supposed to get to work. I asked if they have loaners? Nope you can rent a vehicle from Enterprise. I was like nope. Not spending money for a rental. I was told that I was more than welcome to call other dealerships to see if they could do it quicker. I was like you waisted my time and gas driving here for something that could have been done over the phone. I left out and I swear will NEVER use David McDavid again! Lousy customer service and so far management that doesn't seem to be able to fix anything. More
UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!!Called the warranty company this UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!! Called the warranty company this morning and was told they issued my refund on January 13th to David McDavid fort worth and was UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!! Called the warranty company this morning and was told they issued my refund on January 13th to David McDavid fort worth and was told by their accountant they applied $1400 as a down payment!!! This dealership was very disceptive and used a bait and switch practice to steal my warranty refund. They tried to present me with a cancelation warranty form via email today (02/02/2022) saying that we signed and clearly they forged my husband's signature and added an additional Box(cut and paste) at the end of this form With my husband's signature that was clearly copied from another form and it was saying my husband agreed to use the $1400 as a down payment to try and cover their illegal activities. We did not need a down-payment, we had a trade in, plus our credit score is 800! We will be seeking legal council next week if they do not refund the full $1897.00. We spoke with Brian at the dealership this evening on February the 2nd, 2022, And he emailed us this fake form that we have never seen until today. Contacted Steve Mansel the (GM), and still no return call from him. If I could give this dealership a 0 I would! Horrible experience with Jose Carreon, Martin Greenberg, Sterling Moody and the finance team. I need the GM of David McDavid fort worth to contact me ASAP!! This dealership stole my Extended warranty refund and applied it as a down payment and I was not informed of this until today after requesting a refund on my GAP and extended warranty!! I was told that my GAP was being canceled and the extended warranty was being transferred to the new vehicle I bought from them...when in fact, she used it as a down payment of $1400, and charged me $2500 for my new vehicle. David McDavid is your worst fears coming to life. I have a third party tracker on my new pickup. I purchased this vehicle new at David McDavid. I dropped it off with them to have a bed liner installed. When a third party tracker on my new pickup. I purchased this vehicle new at David McDavid. I dropped it off with them to have a bed liner installed. When I checked my tracker I found that they were driving it at 104 MPH. This vehicle has less than 500 miles on it. Still with the break in fluids. When you imagine how a service provider is treating your vehicle most of the time it creates an unfounded fear. With David McDavid that fear is real and founded. I made several attempts to speak with the general manager and he would not return my calls. These are quantifiable facts. Make up your own mind. More
This is a Service Center Review. In some sense, I regret being compelled to write it since I have used this service center before (about 5 years ago) and received good service and reasonable pricing at that being compelled to write it since I have used this service center before (about 5 years ago) and received good service and reasonable pricing at that time. This time, however, was significantly different. On this visit, I delivered my daughter's car for repairs on 1/4/2022. On 1/5 and 1/6, I attempted to phone the service advisor with no reply. Four days later, on 1/8/2022, the service advisor sent me an estimate for repairs. The technician/mechanic diagnosed the need for a new Brake Master Cylinder, two front brake flex hoses (with associated banjo washers) and a brake fluid flush, along with other non-brake system related recommendations for a total cost of $2396.95. I approved the brake related services only. The advisor provided a quote of $1596.22 for the repairs I approved. This included costs for parts ($473.32), labor costs ($1040.09) and miscellaneous charges ($49.95), and of course, a sales tax of $43.17. Six days later, I received an email from the service advisor informing me that the repairs had been completed, but the problem of a spongy brake pedal/fading brake pedal still existed. When braking, the brake pedal still went to the floor. As a result the advisor stated, "We now unfortunately have a HCU *(hydraulic control unit) and ABS module issue, we suspect after putting on new parts that the next weakest link gave out." The cost stated to replace the Hydraulic Control Unit and the ABS Module (which, I was told, wouldn't be available until March, 2022), would be $1621.30, in addition to the $1526.92. After 10 days of waiting to get the car back, the unanswered telephone calls, and the growing realization of misplaced trust, I quickly paid the bill, which was now $1606.53. When I got the car home and opened the hood, the brake fluid reservoir cap was not securely screwed onto the brake fluid reservoir. It seems that each time I applied the poorly functioning brakes or executed a turn on the drive home, brake fluid had "spilled" all over the intake manifold. My battery block, which had been removed, had not been replaced and was found laying on the air filter compartment. Also, two loose/unattached 13 mm nuts were found in the engine compartment. I hope these loose 13 mm nuts don't go to something crucial. When I take my car to a dealership for repairs, where parts and labor prices are typically higher, I expect attention to detail, good communication (at least return my phone calls), a correct diagnosis of the automotive problem(s), timely repairs, and not making things worse. I regret to say, the Service Center at David Mc David Ford of Fort Worth failed me here. I am convinced that the service and pricing of a good independent mechanic will better serve you, and me, both now and in the future. Dr. John Q. Adams Professor of Biology More

Do NOT buy online, worse car buying experience I have ever seen. You put everything in and they give you a price, pull your credit, and make you sign everything. And then they will not stand by that pric ever seen. You put everything in and they give you a price, pull your credit, and make you sign everything. And then they will not stand by that price. No excuses for this terrible service, they are just xxxxxxxx. If I could give negative stars I would. More
BUYER PLEASE BEWARE. Went their to buy a used Ford Bronco Sport. Liked one of them they had on the showroom floor with 8800 miles. Talked to the salesman and test drove. Decided I wanted to look at purchasin Sport. Liked one of them they had on the showroom floor with 8800 miles. Talked to the salesman and test drove. Decided I wanted to look at purchasing. Sales manager came to talk to me and said he was going to give me great deal and sell me the vehicle for $39,902. Pressures me hard to buy the vehicle right then. I explained that I wanted to check on others first and get insurance information. Went home, decided I was interested in buying. Had my wife, who works for insurance company pull the information for it. Insurance company would not insure it for anywhere near the price they were asking. Tried to call the dealer to get the original window sticker, couldn't get it. Went to the dealer in person at lunchtime and I was finally given the original sticker. Turns out the original MSRP for this vehicle brand new was only $35,365. So their "Great Deal" was wanting me to pay over $4500 more for a used one with 8800 miles than when it was new. Please do your own research and demand to see the original window sticker for any car at McDavid Ford. The insurance company will not cover you for any car that is that far over new MSRP. Just bought my wife a new car last week at a different dealer with no issues. I cannot emphasize enough. Do your own research on the price and don't buy anything without seeing the original sticker. Also, if you have the VIN number of the vehicle you are wanting to buy from them and they don't want to give it to you, you can get it yourself online for about $8. Additionally, McDavid Ford has 12 Better Business Complaints already the one I am about to enter will make 13. Go to Bbb.org to look for yourself and will see their issues. Please avoid making the mistake I almost made. Wanted to add to this review. Just found out from the Better Business Bureau that this dealer is not BBB accredited and they already have them rated at an "F", the lowest possible score BBB gives out. Do your own checking on this dealer and you will definitely want to go somewhere else to do your business. More

IF YOU ARE DEALING WITH MCDAVID FORD PLEASE READ MY REVIEW FIRST. I challenge you to call the service center and get ahold of a manager. I might even put money on this bet. I also see other reviews of REVIEW FIRST. I challenge you to call the service center and get ahold of a manager. I might even put money on this bet. I also see other reviews of oil changes. STOP getting oil changes at McDavid. They do not hire techs that are able to do an oil change correctly. Your Oil Filter WILL NOT BE TIGHT mark my words. My Shelby has been in their shop 4 times within the last 7 months. They will tell you what you want to hear and then go to the next customer to tell them what they want to hear. I just called in and “Susan” lied to me saying my Advisor was on the other line when in fact he is NOT EVEN THERE TODAY. I dont get it.. I really dont. Ive been super nice to them and I told them I trust them to make it right this time and I am having so much trouble to just have my car fixed under warranty and get weekly updates. The “Director” Brian Fabian has yet to return a call of mine. I left voicemails months ago when the Shelby was in last time and still havent heard from him one time. I get it they are busy… I seen first hand how busy they were but it is unacceptable to not return your customers phone calls within 3 days. And 3 days is giving you ALOT. Amren has been my service advisor and he is great. He does his best at returning my calls however he is only one person and cannot handle every single customer McDavid has. Which is where you would think a manager would step up however thats not the case. Do not even get me started on my experience with their sales team. Theres a 18 Shelby for sale there with a lemon buy back title. They stated it is due to a small paint imperfection that Ford fixed and they must have doctored the car fax. I purchased my own car fax from home on the vehicle and there is an entire engine replacement on file for it. You might want to give me a phone call soon. I will not be treated like this any longer.
