Have been trying for five days to see if my extended warranty will cover a 2017 F250 diesel rear diff. seal leak. No one either seems to know or care. Worst car dealership i have ever done business with. Travis, Cesar and everyone who work in service have awful customer service skills. They will lie to you and let your car sit on their lot doing not Travis, Cesar and everyone who work in service have awful customer service skills. Worst buying experience I have EVER encountered! Finance department is unethical, service department is rude and hateful. If David McDavid is your only choice I recommend changing to another car brand! TERRIBLE!! More
My review is not reflection on my salesman. Sam was great. I have an issue with the dealership. I mentioned the same what had happened at another dealership and when we started the truck low and behold the same low tire pressure sensor was on. The salesman was definitely embarrassed since we were just talking about that. The dealership refused to do anything about it. I just find this to be unacceptable. I purchased the truck but still waiting to see how many sensors are not working. More
I was going to have less stars in my review, however, every time I came to the dealership in person or called over the phone they were very kind and respectful. The service itself was very slow it was ro every time I came to the dealership in person or called over the phone they were very kind and respectful. The service itself was very slow it was roughly a 1 and 1/2 week wait for what I was told was going to be 2-3 days to replace a passenger side mirror. The only reason I took off 2 stars was because the process was much slower than they claimed it would be as well as some over the phone complications. As I said before, everyone there was incredibly kind and respectful which is a trait that I find to be too uncommon in busy industries such as this. If you have the time for car repairs to be slow but enjoy when the servicemen are kind, then this place is good to visit is what I have found. More
Turns out when David McDavid Ford installed my new short block the tech left bolts out in my suspension. After being treated very rudely by a tech when I called and totally ghosted by their service manager block the tech left bolts out in my suspension. The adjuster not only found the reason my left axle came out but found the same bolt missing on the other side. Their incompetence could have gotten someone killed. More
I came in for a vehicle, was told the vehicle was unavailable but never told why. Then the salesman showed me a car with less features and asked if it was a fair trade off. I later found out, through a phone call to the dealership, that the car I was looking at had failed its inspection. If someone had informed me of this at my initial visit, I wouldn’t have waited around because it stayed on their listing for 5 days after my visit. More
Scheduled an appointment to have my oil changed and an alignment done. Showed up early to my appt, and was asked if I was leaving my truck. I told them no, I was told to do everything was going to be at l alignment done. Showed up early to my appt, and was asked if I was leaving my truck. Don’t know what the purpose of scheduling an appt is if they aren’t going to follow through on anything. More
This is the second time that I have used this dealership for a problem. I dont' have exact date for the initial concern of being told by a service advisor to please go back and rate him higher on my survey. for a problem. I explained it was over the lousy phone service and getting someone to answer. Didn't matter. Was even less impressed with a so called manager called me to address my review and pretty much backed the advisor. Swore I would never use them again. Now to today I have an issue that I was told only could be fixed by a dealership. The truck was diagnosed already. I called This dealership on a Monday 2/7/22 and told the " call center" what the problem was. I was told I would get a call back. Never heard back and called again on 2/11/22 to try again. I was told that I would have to bring the truck in to be diagnosed and they were 5 days behind. I said that is fine. They made me an appointment for 2/21/22 @ 10 am. I drove to the dealership expecting that they would diagnose my truck for me. I was met by an advisor and was told sorry I would have to leave the truck with them for 24-48 hours. They would have it done sometime in that frame. I looked at him and asked why was this appointment made. He said to see what the complaint is with the truck. I said I told the person on the phone all that already. He goes well that is our call center and they should have advised you that you would need to leave it with us. He was sorry but that is the way they run that program of diagnosing. I asked since I only have one vehicle how I was supposed to get to work. I asked if they have loaners? Nope you can rent a vehicle from Enterprise. I was like nope. Not spending money for a rental. I was told that I was more than welcome to call other dealerships to see if they could do it quicker. I was like you waisted my time and gas driving here for something that could have been done over the phone. I left out and I swear will NEVER use David McDavid again! Lousy customer service and so far management that doesn't seem to be able to fix anything. More
