Oil change and splash guard repair. Had a 9:30 appointment over 2 1/2 hours later my car has not even been pulled in for repair. But why would you request the customer make an appointment and they still wait for hours for such a simple service. Not sure how much longer I will be here but pretty sure won't be coming back for service! More
Pleasant Experience Buying our new Ford Escape was a "piece of cake"! Lynn was so easy to work with. He was there to help us in any way he could. He searched and found one at another dealership. They gave us a loaner to use til we got our new Ford. Lynn was not a pushy salesman like a lot of car salesmen are! He made buying our car a very pleasant experience. We will send customers to him. We were very pleased with the price we paid for the car. We purchased the extended warranty. Another reason we went to McDavid was that we had taken our Ford truck to McDavid for service. We really like the service department at McDavid. Nothing like an excellent salesman, Lynn, and a good service department. We are so happy with our Ford Escape. Lynn definitely takes customer satisfaction seriously. We are one satisfied customer!!! More

Horrible experience all around Purchased a brand new 2016 Mustang GT from this dealer very poor experience. Agreed on the price with the manager then was told 30 min later will be Purchased a brand new 2016 Mustang GT from this dealer very poor experience. Agreed on the price with the manager then was told 30 min later will be 500 more. Went to the dealer checked out the car before I met with the sales guy, I clearly saw dents in the hood. Asked the sales guy if they had hail recently completely lied said there are no dents at all on the car. Pointed them out said they will fix it right away. The dealer told me I will be in and out in 30 minutes. Say there for 3 and a half hours also had the price agreed on before even walking in. I told the sales guy im paying the car of completely with a certified check. He still asked for my social to check for identity purposes. Which was a lie. Come to find out my score dropped 60 points because of it. I showed him the check for the full amount we agreed on before he even asked for my social. The dealer did not even offer me a hail discount or anything after finding the hail damage on the car. I was told I was going to get a call for them to schedule the paintless dent repair that was a big joke. It was like pulling teeth to get a scheduled after few weeks of purchasing the mustang. Countless voicemails that never got returned Even emailed the manager that would email me right away while we were agreeing on the price. To get the hail damage fixed Damon Pompa completely ignored the issue never replied back. Once I finally went in to get the repair done no one knew I had a appointment literally drove around the lot with a worker to find the repair Pearson. He told me he doesn't normally do appointment on the cars today they should reschedule you, after I drove a hour and half the get the repairs and take off from work to be there. He finally went back and fourth with sale guy and manager and got my repair done. They could of at less filled my gas tank The whole experience has been terrible Lied about hail damage never got discount from that. I had purchased a 2016 F-250 XL but after McDavid's Ford was an excellent dealership to purchase from and they take customer satisfaction seriously. I had purchased a 2016 F-250 XL but after driving it home, I had buyers remorse since it was not exactly what I wanted the vehicle to be. I returned the next day and Arturo Castanon and the sales manager Mark, were able to get me into a F-250 XLT that was satisfactory. They could have said no and I would have had no recourse but to leave however Arturo, Mark and the staff worked hard to make me a satisfied customer. More

(They certainly didn't go above or beyond, but at least I now have the remaining month of my 12 month bumper to bumper warranty.) Also, allegedly the manager who I originally dealt with is not longer there. However, this doesn't change the fact that the purchasing experience was terrible and it can't erase completely their mistake whether intentional or not. Also, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and remove my allegation of fraud. Original review... Outright deception, bait and switch, then almost a year later I find out they messed up my CPO warranty. First the purchasing experience was horrible. However, I eventually did purchase a 2011 F150 that was advertised as a Certified Pre-Owned. First they tried to withdraw the CPO warranty even though it was advertised with one. (After agreeing on a sales price.) I just about walked away from the deal but then they relented and agreed to include it after all. Now, 11 months after purchasing the truck I find out they never included the full CPO warranty!!! I just took it to another dealer down here in Austin to get the tailgate fixed. When doing the work this dealer looked up my warranty information and let me know that it has only the power train, not the bumper to bumper part of the CPO. I have the paper in my hand that clearly stated the CPO warranty includes both power train and 12 month/ 12,000 mile bumper-bumper from date of purchase. They even include the miles at the time of purchase. I am still with the time/miles but I do not have this warranty. Bottom line, they 'sold' it to me, but then never actually included it. Not worth the hassle of litigation, but I am more than happy to write this review and warn everyone against falling for these guys outrageous sales tactics. edit... I am convinced the guy I dealt with was very dishonest, however it seems he does not work there any more. More

BEWARE!!!!! Beware when dealing with them over the website. Asked several times for exact best price and was told "the online price is the best." Drove 2 hrs, test drove truck, was preapproved for finance until they came out with a price 10k higher than the online price. Apparently there were "dealer add ons" that were never mentioned in the ad or the 15 email exchanges with the Internet manager. A SCAM just to get me in the door. Then offered me a stripped down version for the online price I was quoted for the 1st vehicle. A complete waste of time! Very shady sales tactict. Could have been the easiest sale had they been honest. I saved all the emails and and screen shot the ad and the sticker. Thinking of taking my story to the media. Worst experience ever! More
