Worst Experience at a Dealership I took my 2010 F250 Diesel in to have the High pressure pump replaced, so the did that and charged over 3100 and it made it 20 miles before it started I took my 2010 F250 Diesel in to have the High pressure pump replaced, so the did that and charged over 3100 and it made it 20 miles before it started, doing the same thing took it back and #2and #6 injector weren't firing, so after another 1200 dollars worth of repair, they brought oput the truck and it was dirty no service writer or anyone in the service department asked if it was good. they plugged one of my tires for no charge but I don't use plugs on tires. I brought my truck to this dealership because I thought they had a good reputation but that was not true. I had bought my wife's 2014 F250 from this same dealership when it was Texas Motors and thing have gone down hill since David McDavid took over. More

Mr. Self took his time and showed great patience. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. Great customer service and great deals on cars. Mr. Kirk with the financing department was methodical in his explanation. I loved my experience at David Mcdavid Ford and look forward to shopping here again in the future. More

We love our new F150 and will definitely buy our next Ford from these guys. It was well worth the drive and they got us out of there fast. One of the best auto buying experiences we have ever had. Internet Success McDavid Ford I was passively shopping to upgrade from my F150 to a F250. As I searched the internet I found several potential trucks at multiple dealers. The fol I was passively shopping to upgrade from my F150 to a F250. As I searched the internet I found several potential trucks at multiple dealers. The folks at McDavid were the most helpful without burying my inbox or voicemail. I was put into contact with Lynn "Big Tex" Self and I couldn't have been more pleased with the GREAT service with low pressure. Lynn listened to what I wanted and got me the deal I was looking for. The other staff that I met and work with, (Brian, Vinny and Nick) were professional, courteous and low pressure as well. This was my 5th Ford but first experience at McDavid Ford, I will be going back for all my future needs. More
Be aware. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. SHADY BUSINESS. First of all read very carefully before you sign anything DO NOT TRUST THEM these people I would give this place 0 stars if possible. SHADY BUSINESS. First of all read very carefully before you sign anything DO NOT TRUST THEM these people will try to rip you off for their financial gain. My sales guy was called Logan, I went there last week to get a 2014 Mustang with a $2700 extended warranty which I agreed. Everything was going fine, I gave them the money and we were doing the paperwork, after we finished with the paperwork I was about leave when they said they couldn't find the car keys, I didn't care because it can happen to anyone but what really pissed me off was the fact that after looking for the car keys for over two hours they were trying to make it look as if I was the one who lost the key, then they asked me to go home and come back when they find the key for the car that i had already paid for, didn't even bother to offer me another car to go home. Few days later I went to get my key back and i found out on my paperwork that instead of a $2700 warranty was a $4000. I tried to canceled it right away so I can get my full refund, with the Finance Manager, as soon as I said that he started having an attitude, telling me I couldn't cancel the warranty and if the did my payments would go up and if I really wanted to do it, it had to be after one month, which is not true because if I do I won't get a full refund. I left the dealership really mad . I went home and talked to the warranty company myself and wrote a letter to them to cancel my warranty since the dealership didnt want to help me do it due to the fact that its not profitable to them. Demeaning, deceiving, con artists Went in to work with Lynn Self ("Big Tex") who wasn't there for our appointment. Turned out he's the star of the show by default! Worked with another Went in to work with Lynn Self ("Big Tex") who wasn't there for our appointment. Turned out he's the star of the show by default! Worked with another sales guy that was moderately ok aside from during the course of my buying process (2 weeks) called and kept forgetting my situation... On a Saturday morning I went in READY TO BUY! Mind set on my truck for an AMAZING (before knowledge of what they do) price. Let me explain... They give you an AMAZING price on the 'front end' and tell you you qualify for a pretty high interest rate (not NEAR as low as you can get for your credit rating), then make up the price differential with that, and the "back end" where they take it to you with NO LUBE. (luckily i didn't get that far... because as follows) *******the demeaning part*********** Against my better judgement I continue on through some of the process as far as management coming out at a high interest rate. They pigeon hole me into getting the truck ready, and while they claim they're having trouble finishing the paperwork, a member of sales management (forget his name but probably doesn't matter) CONFRONTS me and says the following statements, give or take a few irrelevant to the story words while pointing at me: -you're not a man of your word -if i relied on my mother to cosign at your age (fairly young) I'd be embarrassed as a man -tell me right now, is it a deal or not, right now! as he continues to belittle me, and i ask for a few minutes to make my decision........he tells me to GET OUT?!?!?!?! unbelievable! I took my pathetic A$$ to Autonation and got a better deal on a similar truck, salvaged some of my manhood.... lol. Keep conning and demeaning, everything short of spitting on your customers. your scheme is so clever that it's most likely not going to be figured out by the commoners you inherit. More

The Fusion and Taurus were its major competitors so, I stopped by McDavid Ford just to have a closer look. I have known Lynn Self for several years and felt most comfortable talking with him. Lynn was most accommodating with my questions and concerns about the products. Before the day was out, I had purchased a new Fusion Titanium that was in the color and trim package I was used to. Brian Bertschy and I had a good hearted negotiation on the final price of the vehicle and he won out in the end. The final price was extremely fair and the closing process was simple and easy. Lynn had the car cleaned and ready for delivery the following day. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase experience. More
