The dealership called me offered to purchase my 1025 F150 for set price. I took the truck to them, they were obviously pleased, I took a cab home at a cost of $200. That was on February 27, 2021. Later that for set price. I took the truck to them, they were obviously pleased, I took a cab home at a cost of $200. That was on February 27, 2021. Later that afternoon, the salesman i was dealing with claimed they forgot to get me to sign off on the odometer reading. That went on till sunday night, February 28, 2021. He could not get an email to me, so I sent he one to respond to, amazingly that worked. Now, It March 8, 2021,I have heard no word from this dealership, no payment for the purchase has been made, and I feel I am being ignored. More

Last week my car would not start and still won't start. Again was told nothing they can do. I do NOT recommended this place to anyone! My first car payment isn't even due yet. This place should not even be in business if this is how they do customers. More
I took my truck into the David McDavid dealership for them to fix an electrical problem with the A/C Control module. Cesar was the customer service rep and he was polite and hospitable and basically doi them to fix an electrical problem with the A/C Control module. Cesar was the customer service rep and he was polite and hospitable and basically doing his job. I have an issue with the service dept and the company Mechanical Protection Plan that would not cover this repair although it is a simple fix if you have the right part. They would not honor the claim but instead the dealership was going to charge me $1075 just to replace it which is laughable. I just hate the fact that I spent good money for a warranty that turned out to be completely pointless and why they would charge so much for such a simple repair. More
I was shopping for a new Ford Explorer and was using the Sam's Club buying program. I was contacted by McDavid Ford . The price quoted to me seemed to be quite good - too good to be true . I was then told t Sam's Club buying program. I was contacted by McDavid Ford . The price quoted to me seemed to be quite good - too good to be true . I was then told the price was only good for cars financed through them. The cash price would be more . I asked them to work me up a cash price including my trade in. When I received the quote , it was significantly higher. To top it off , the trade in offer was $ 3 - 5000 less than other dealers offered . I told them this , asked to redo the quote showing the price with a revised trade offer showing the financed price. When I finally got this , the price of the vehicle was same , only the trade in value was changed . When I called them on this , they made excuses, said it must be a mistake , etc.... AND NEVER GOT BACK TO ME LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD . I was very disappointed in my recent dealings with the sales staff and the lack of honesty , transparency , and integrity. I guess if I had bothered to read the reviews of this dealership online I would have realized it was the norm rather than the exception More
Absolutely the worst car buying experience I ever had!! Stay away from them!! The sales manager Eddie hands down provided the worst customer experience ever. - They took 5 days until they sent paper Stay away from them!! The sales manager Eddie hands down provided the worst customer experience ever. - They took 5 days until they sent paper work out , claiming they wanted to check the mileage on the car. 5 Days to check Mileage?? - I scheduled transport to pick up car, transport gets there & the dealership had lost the keys to the car I purchased. - They did get another key made but only 1! A car is supposed to come with 2 Keys. No matter who I spoke to there or even their corporate owners, Asbury Automotive Group, they refused to buy 2nd key for me & again they were the ones who lost them. I will never buy a car from them or any dealership associated with Asbury Automotive Group. Again stay away!! More
I bought a used F450 from these guys in August. I was promised new tires and brakes when I went to receive my truck, they took my money but no new tires or breaks. I had to threaten them with a lawyer t promised new tires and brakes when I went to receive my truck, they took my money but no new tires or breaks. I had to threaten them with a lawyer to get my tires and I still had to come up with over 600 bucks to get them and never did get new brakes! Now after several months, I find out that they did not do a state inspection and I can not get my plates without one. No big deal if I were close to texas, but I am not and do not plan to be for another 6 months. Their solution - dive back to Texas get an inspection, and then I can get the plates, I paid for an inspection when I bought the truck! Now they want me to drive over 3000 miles on my own dime to get what they did not do. DO NOT EVER DEAL with these people!!!! More
If you're smart, you'll go somewhere else. I'd give them a -5 rating if I could. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Found a pre-owned Ford Platinum truck and worked out a final price and a -5 rating if I could. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Found a pre-owned Ford Platinum truck and worked out a final price and they sent me the paperwork to sign. Salesperson kept pushing me to finance with them. I said that I had my own bank financing. I lived out of state but my bank has offices in Houston and Dallas. I told the salesperson that I would provide everything to my bank and pick up the check in Dallas on the way to the dealership. That wasn’t good enough. I have exceptional credit and my bank is very reputable. My bank was going to provide me with a certified check and letter of guarantee. What more could McDavid possibly need? Still wasn’t good enough. You need to finance with us blah, blah, blah. That should have been a really big red flag for me! My bad! Next thing you know, the salesperson is telling me that someone else is looking at the truck. Right…. She says that the other buyer lives in Texas but wants to use their own bank as well but were being told the same thing as I was – need to finance with us. Salesperson then says that per the sales director, whoever gets their financing done first gets the truck. So now it’s become a race?? A game?? I had already been screwed out of a truck at a dealership in Tampa, FL (stay away from Jerry Ulm!) and I didn’t want to lose another vehicle so I agreed to play the game. I filled out the credit application and waited. I received a text from the salesperson asking me when I could be in Ft. Worth to pick up the truck and I told her that I’d be there by lunch time the next day. Radio silence. So, I ask: “do I have a truck to pick up?” Radio silence again. Then she tells me, the sales director is now saying that whoever made the offer first gets the truck.” Wait a minute!! You told me an hour ago that whoever got the financing done first got the truck!! Now you’re changing the rules in the middle of the game??? Unbelievable!! Then I asked the $64,000 question: who got their offer in first? Naturally the response was the other buyer. I called total BS!! I’d bet my last dollar that they picked the offer where they made the most money but I had no way to prove it. I still have all the text messages from this sham if you need proof. The fact is, they don't care about the customer. They don't care who they sell to. All they care about is the sale. My advice to you is to run far, far away from this dealership!! They are very unprofessional and cannot be trusted. Don't get caught up in their web of lies and deceit! BUYER BEWARE!!! More
Worst ever experience. They sold the car on Saturday and threatening us in two days to pay more on down payment or return the truck.they were thinking we might end up paying them more down payment. They are threatening us in two days to pay more on down payment or return the truck.they were thinking we might end up paying them more down payment. They are here to just make money they don’t have ethics, morals. They took truck back in two days but never refunded down payment and also did not allow us to take our things from truck. They also took gooseneck ball. I don’t think they have intention of returning it either. Stay away from them in any situation. Because entire dealership works as gang. All the comments by their managers saying that call us we will fix it, all lie. In fact they are the one who approves all these xxxxty tactics and cheating customers is their expertise. More

She called my company and asked the employee who answered the phone if we could "Cut" a check for $50K. She was told that they couldn't answer that question. This information did not need to be disseminated to the entire staff, i.e., that I was paying cash for a new truck. I complained to the salesman and the "Customer relations manager" who both tried to lie about this very unprofessional conduct and say it was Tele-A-Check that made the call. If they had a question about my funds they should have called the bank, which is what Tele-A-Check does. Needless to say my check was good and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to pay cash for a new vehicle. More
So I bought a brand new super duty almost 4 months ago now. My first temp tag expired so I asked for another. Then that one expired, so I called asking what the deal was, and for another temp tag. They in now. My first temp tag expired so I asked for another. Then that one expired, so I called asking what the deal was, and for another temp tag. They informed me that they messed up my paperwork and didn’t do my taxes correctly. No one had tried contacting me during the 3 months since leaving the dealership. They said I need to pay almost $2500 out of pocket for their mistake. We signed a contract agreeing on a price. I’m not paying anything for their mistake. At this point they need to either cancel the contract and come pick up their truck, or pay for their mistake and get my registration and tags. I called back after finding this out and left messages on the finance managers voicemail, and the sales managers voicemail, but neither returned my call. If they get this straight I will change my review. If it’s still up it means they didn’t. More
