McDavid Ford Should be ashamed! Do not buy a car from McDavid Ford! If I could have given them a ZERO for a rating I would have! They sold me a car for $14K cash that they knew had a bad engine. The day I received my tags for the car the engine imploded. I called multiple times and the best they could offer was that I could use it as a down payment on a new car but it would be worth considerable less than what I paid for it 50 days prior. I left several messages for management to call me back and no one ever did. Horrible customer service! They should be ashamed! Stay away from McDavid Ford! More
THREE WEEKS; No Service My 2014 Ford Escape just stopped running because of a transmission problem. I had it towed to David McDavid on Tuesday May 14. I was told their servic My 2014 Ford Escape just stopped running because of a transmission problem. I had it towed to David McDavid on Tuesday May 14. I was told their service department was backed up, and it might take 2 weeks before it could be repaired. But, I called at the end of the week to see if it might get in sooner. I was told Yes -- that it was "next in line." I called again the following week (because they never called me; I always had to call for updates). I was told they hadn't looked at it, but it was "next in line." At the end of that week, I was told my car had been taken into the bay, but the tech didn't show up. When I called the next week, I was told it was "next in line." (I guess, they moved it out of the bay for some reason??). Finally, after THREE WEEK (during which time I was paying for a rental car out of pocket) I went in person to see what was going on. The Service Manager heard my story, and replied, "Well I don't know why they told you any of that. There's still 2 cars in front of yours. It will probably be two more weeks." I asked him if he thought that was acceptable, and he basically said that's just the way it is. I called Southwest Ford in Weatherford and they said they could look at the next day. I asked the Service Manager to tow my car to Southwest Ford and he asked, "Why would I do that?" I replied I thought that was the least he could do considering how many times I had been lied to over the course of three weeks. He said he was not willing to do that, so I got up to leave. The Sales Manager (who was also at this meting and who was very nice and understanding) followed me out of the office and asked me not to leave. He spoke to the folks at Southwest Ford (who did diagnose it the next day, by the way) and agreed to pay for the tow. What I was told was that they only have 2 bays, and that they are always backed up; So it seems to me that Ford needs to make better transmissions, or McDavid Ford needs to hire more help to handle the backlog. Dealers will low ball u to no end on your trade beware!!!! Went to McDavid on Thursday total waste of my time. Prince was my sales associate. Poor guy burning up in that long sleeve shirt in 100 degree Texas weather. Sweating all over the car during the test drive I thought he was gonna split them tight pants he was rockin. Nice guy but didn’t get us a deal at all. We ended up getting offered 20k for our trade. A 2018 grand Cherokee. We were In a negative equity situation like a lot of consumers I told them previous dealer offered us 25k they were waaayyy too far. Of course after going back and forth here comes the sales manager he reminds me of Gallagher...oh maybe we can give u 23k but we “losing money” heard that one so many times. I’m laughing inside because I know how this goes. What bothered me most was Prince never handed us a business card and we told him we would do business Saturday we never got a courtesy call. Called asked for Prince Friday left a message no call back.... So when Saturday came what did we do go to 5 star ford but let me check carmax just Incase I’m over pricing my own trade. Turns out Carmax wanted it for 27k cash that’s 4K difference nuts!!!! These dealers will bull crap u to no end want to burn u on their vehicle and burn u on yours too. We got the deal done at 5 star. For 3k less than Mcdavids bottom line and on a car that was equipped with $995 safety package Mcdavids didn’t have. So listen Prince work the deal after the people leave and make sure to do what u say. A Follow up will help u make more money in sales. I hated that we couldn’t get it done at Mcdavids but hey there’s always oil changes and tire rotations I’m out!!!! More
Worst customer service experience EVER! We purchased a used car from them for my 17 yr old. Before it's even driven off the lot, there's an issue with the sun roof. Ok, it's under warranty - we'll schedule an appt to get it fixed. 2 days after purchase, the check engine light goes on. Take it in first thing Monday morning, and leave it for diagnostics. NO call to let us know they are keeping it overnight. They hung up on child 4x before she calls me to get involved. I got hung up and re-routed another 4 times. Finally got some answers, still not acceptable. They lack organization, communication, and professionalism. They keep trying to "pacify" me, but it has gone beyond that. No manager has called me back like I was told they would - just messages passed to me from the staff that I do get a hold of. Am so disappointed in this place. This just solidifies my dislike of FORD. More

He was very helpful. I explained that we had just purchased our 2015 Fusion S several weeks ago and had found that a piece of carpet had pulled away on the driver’s side floor board. I told him that Anye, our salesman had been notified of the issue when he called us on our two week courtesy call. Anye had told us that it would be repaired and not to worry about it. I told James that we had purchased a 2 year warranty on the car. James was very knowledgeable about the service department’s various areas and checked with their Trim Department to see how long it would take them to complete our job. He was always courteous and respectful in taking care of us. We appreciate those qualities a great deal. More
