Great buying experience I was only there there to look initially as there was another truck I wanted to view before purchasing. I allowed them to put together some numbers and after seeing the price, which was in the range I was shopping I told them i needed to look at the other vehicle prior to deciding. Philip says to me, "write down the number which will make you not look at the other truck." I said I didn't want to be insulting and he said not to worry. I wrote down a number I was sure they would not accept. Less than 3 minutes later they had accepted my counter. Needless to say I was very surprised and LOVE my new truck! More

We got the vehicle we wanted for the price we wanted. I researched the Flex on line at Ford.com. I used the Build your Ford section and added the options my wife and I needed (and wanted). I chose McCombs West Ford to acquire my new car and printed all the specifications including price. The salesman we initially spoke with told me there was no way he could sell it for that amount even though the Ford site gave me the price. We discussed back and forth for a bit and I came to the conclusion he would not honor the quote I printed. Then Vernon White stepped in. Vernon is likely the most honest salesman I've ever met. He apologized for the other man and we talked for a few. I sat and showed him the print outs for the vehicle I wanted. He honored the price quote and did everything he could to locate it as production woul not be in a 2018 which meant we would have to wait until 2019 production began. After telling him we needed the car before we go on vacation he searched further at all across the country. He found one with one added option that would be raise the price a bit. We agreed on the price and the deal was done. Vernon followed through on the shipping and we received the car in time for our trip. Love my Ford XLT! I drove into Mc Combs West not expecting to get a truck because my 2017 Nissan was only 6 months old. I was regretful of having purchased a truck other than Ford but did not imagine being able to get out of it and into the truck I really wanted. When I met Edgar Guzman I was hopeful. Edgar went up and beyond to get my previous truck paid off, keep me at about the same payment level and get me as many discounts and extras on the new truck as possible. I am thrilled to be in a 2018 Ford Truck XLT Crew cab with Texas package, Eco boost ,including several feature upgrades that the previous truck did not have. Edgar exceeded my expectations when he took time to make sure I understood and could operate the truck features as well as syncing my phone and setting up my Sirius Radio! I am a very satisfied customer and I will definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family. More
