The purchase of my new Malibu at McCarthy-Morse Chevrolet was the best car buring experience my wife and I have ever had. I am one who takes the time to research vehicles that have a proven track record of providing long term dependable service. My research led me to focus on the Chevrolet Malibu for our next new car. We were contacted by Nate DuBose via email following my access of the Consumer Reports web site. After a couple of email exchnages, we came to an agreeable purchase price and we made an appointment for my wife and I to visit McCarthy-Morse that evening. This is where our car buying experience took a giant step forward. When we met Mr. DuBose for the first time in person, we both felt this was a different type of salesman. He was personalble and a true gentleman. He brought the car up from the parking lot, opened all doors, the hood, and trunk explaining the features of the car as we walked around it. He actually knew the features of the car. As my wife test drove the car, Mr. DuBose continued to explain the features to us. At all times he treated us both with respect. After test driving and my wife acknowledged she liked the car, we entered the Dealership to do the final paper work to purchase the vehicle. We had no surprises at the end, no gimmicks or additional attempted add-ons, our previously agreed to purchase price was honored. When we met with the Finance person at the end to complete the purchase, another great positive experience was in the making. He also treated us with respect and was very personalable. While completing the purchase of the vehicle, the salesman from another Dealership I had been working with called my cell phone. I ignored this call. A few minutes later, as we were driving our new Malibu out of the parking lot, the salesman called again. This time I answered. Previously, he had told me there was no way McCarthy-Morse would honor the purchase price they had conveyed to me, there would be surpises at the end. He hung up in disbelief as I conveyed the great experience we had with McCarthy-Morse and we couldn't be any happier. More

We came to the dealership because we were experiencing mechanical trouble. It was not going to be able to be repaired that afternoon, so we were going to have to stay in town overnight. We had been thinking of trading, but were thinking that would be in a year or so. During this 30 minutes we wandered around the lot. Mr. Tisdale came out, introduced himself, and asked if he could help in any way. We told him the type of car were would thinking about getting in a year or so, and wondered about what it would cost us.( We were thinking a late model Impala.) They had exactly what we were thinking of getting. When we learned the extent of our car's problems(blown head gasket) we started thinking about making the trade now. Mr. Tisdale was the exact personality it took to help us make the decision. I can't say enough about helpfulness, non-pushy-ness, friendliness, and knowledge about the product and process we needed to go through to purchase the car. This had to be the best experience of purchasing a car that we have ever had. I can't say enough about the whole dealership and this particular salesman. Probably, before we purchase another car, we will drive the 150 miles to K.C. and at least talk with these folks about what they have to offer. They are the greatest. I gave the dealership 5s on all categories because the overall experience was better than any other dealer I've been to. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There was almost no pressure to buy (they wouldn't be doing their job if there was no pressure!) They were open and honest about pricing. Some cars they had room to work and some they didn't. I found the one I wanted, and they gave me written quote with a great upfront offer, with little haggling after. Once I decided to buy the car, it was a smooth process. They were very attentive to my requests as far as timing to pick the car up. I was extremely happy with the experience. More

This is the second time he has assisted us with a purchase of a new car and we'll definitely go back to him in the future when we're in the market for a new car again. I can't really put into words how wonderfully my wifeand I were treated at McCarthy-Morse Chevrolet.Our salesman Gary Cooke was absolutly incredible with everything pertaining to our new 2011 Chevy Cruze. Randy Arnold was also wonderful in explaining about the high tech things on the car (navigation, blue tooth, voice commands ,radio, etc). I purchase at supplier price, so that takes a lot of negotiation out of the time required. Gary let me use his computer to get the supplier paperwork and we were out the door. More

The salesman explained that they were still trying to track down the spare key from the previous dealer. I kept in contact with the salesman. He told me if they were unable to obtain the spare key within 60 days to have a spare key made at a Toyota dealership and they would reimburse me (the programmable keys with chips are pretty expensive!). They delivered on that promise of reimbursement. The professionalism they demonstrated in that act, along with the outstanding customer service I received through the entire process would definitely allow me to recommend McCarthy-Morse Chevrolet to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. I gave the review I did because, at the time I was purchasing my new car, I'd recently been widowed. I'd not bought a car alone for many years (before I was married) and this, combined with my recent purchasing my new car, I'd recently been widowed. I'd not bought a car alone for many years (before I was married) and this, combined with my recent bereavement, made me a purchaser who had a hard time grasping all the particulars of the sales process. I didn't have to worry about that, tho', because of Mike's real care and consummate professionalism. He-and Randy-went far beyond 'the call of duty'. When I got emotional, they were there to explain that they'd conducted other such sales where clients were in similar circumstances. Thus I felt reassured and able to learn a lot about both my car and what was needed for the sales process. They weren't just wonderfully informed about the car I was buying, they took all the time I needed to ask the questions I had. Now, not only do I have a wonderful new car. I also feel as if I'll be taking my car to your dealership in future for routine maintenance. You gentleman have the personal touch, and I didn't feel it was 'put on' simply to make a sale.
