Bad engine So I would recommend either not buying, or IF you do, buy a new Hyundai where you will actually have a longevity warranty. I purchased my used 2011 Hy So I would recommend either not buying, or IF you do, buy a new Hyundai where you will actually have a longevity warranty. I purchased my used 2011 Hyundai Elantra from McCarthy Olathe about a year and a half ago..never skipped an oil change and suddenly was told I needed a new engine. Bad news. My warranties had run up. So McCarthy “attempted” in helping me by asking Hyundai to do a good will repair on my car. Hyundai declined, and I’m stuck with a bad car and a $9,000 Loan. So overall I give this a dont bUY A HYUNDAI or DONT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM MCCARTHY. I’m only 24, I knew nothing about cars and they took advantage of me. Hopefully this helps someone in the future!! More

Run around My wife and I found a car online that we wanted to look at. It was listed on the Olathe dealership website. I called ahead to make sure it was still i My wife and I found a car online that we wanted to look at. It was listed on the Olathe dealership website. I called ahead to make sure it was still in stock and was told that it was. When I got to the dealership I could not find the car on the lot so I went in to ask. They told me that it was in stock but that it was at the Blue Springs lot. I called the Blue Springs lot to verify for myself and was told that it was on the lot. I drove the 45 min to go take a look at the car. When I arrived, I was told that it had sold that morning. I did everything I could to make sure my time wasn't wasted and they still wasted an entire day of my time. I found one at a different dealership on my way home from Blue Springs and bought it. So glad it didnt work out with McCarthy. More
