A/C Unit quit working on 2014 Tucson Traveling cross country and noticed our A/C unit started blowing warm air. Pulled off the road and found A/C line was iced up. Looked up closest Hyu Traveling cross country and noticed our A/C unit started blowing warm air. Pulled off the road and found A/C line was iced up. Looked up closest Hyundai dealer and McCarthy's was 1.5 miles away. Pulled in at 3pm and noticed all bays seemed full and they were very busy. Michael Huskey in service asked how he could help us. We told him we probably needed an inspection on our system for leaks, etc. and we were traveling through and didn't have an appointment. He told us it would be $190 plus parts if they had them in stock. and they could squeeze us in. Approximately 30 minutes later, Michael returned and told us the system did not have any leaks, that it was the thermostat, but unfortunately they didn't have one in stock. He also told us the service was no charge due to the fact that there was a bulletin out on this problem. Not a recall yet, but it has happened enough to be a concern. He wrote down exactly what we needed, told us we could in fact use the A/C, but let it die down when the a/c started blowing warm air. He gave us his business card and told us to have the dealership we end up with to give him a call if there is any questions... HATS OFF TO MICHAEL AND MCCARTHY! We were back on the road in less then an hour.. what wonderful service! True Professionals! More
Great service! Had a 2014 Hyundai Sonata for 6 years and was so impressed that hat we came back and bought a new 219 Santa Fe! Rodney and Terry helped us in sales. The service department was AMAZING over the last 6 years; it’s hard to put into words how fabulous the service was every time we went in for anything! I have told so many people in Sedalia about the fantastic service department . I wish I knew the service department names. We are customers for life! More
Not a good experience This dealership does not own up to their mistakes. I have spoken with two different sales managers over the course of two years regarding the same issue and was treated as if I were a liar both times. They refuse to make a situation that they created right. I will be spending my money elsewhere moving forward and encourage everyone I know to do the same. More

Never have I felt like a valued customer the entire 5 years working with the company! I will NEVER purchase or recommend anyone to purchase from this dealership or company in general! They do not own up to their mistakes and will not help you in ANY matter!! 0 stars!!!! BTW Shane Holladay has the worst customer service and is very hard to get in touch with! Took me 3 weeks just to get him on the phone to express my horrible service I received just to have him yell at me like a child. Very unprofessional! More

Rodney graciously s I give McCarthy Hyundai in Blue Springs 5 stars! From the first time I walked into the showroom I felt welcomed and valued. Rodney graciously showed me around, visiting with me to determine what vehicle would best suit my needs. He was very professional yet kind, allowing me to sit in different models as he explained the features of each one. The test drives were valuable as well. On the two additional visits I was privileged to meet DJ, who very graciously helped me look at a used vehicle on site. Though that was not what I ended up with, DJ was supportive of my continued search. When I finally decided which car I wanted, could afford and suited my needs, Rodney and Kevin both assisted me, making the selection as smooth as possible. Randy was a great help in working out a trade in to my satisfaction. Caleb made the final “paper” work painless! Again, car shopping is a stressful process, but at Blue Springs Hyundai, my experience was fantastic. Cindi J More

Mislead and unkept promises Salesmen traded for wrong vehicle and was misled on price. Twice was promised returned phone calls which never happened.
