Andrew was amazing! My 2022 Tucson took almost 6 months before it could be delivered. He kept me updated almost weekly. He, Keenon and Ryan were wonderful. I love my car! I took my Hyundai to the dealer where I bought it for covered repairs. Because they are a Kia dealer, they sent it over to McCarthy Hyundai in Blue Springs. I rented a car in the meantime. My car sat for covered repairs. Because they are a Kia dealer, they sent it over to McCarthy Hyundai in Blue Springs. I rented a car in the meantime. My car sat for 1 week before anyone even looked at it. The car rental isn't covered while my car sits with nothing being done. Once the diagnostics were done, they said they needed to do $450 worth of extended diagnostics which would not be covered. It then sat for another 2 weeks before they bothered to do those extended diagnostics. Luckily the Kia dealership I took it to said they'd pay for my rental because 3 weeks for just diagnostics is RIDICULOUS. while my car sat on the lot, someone tried to steal the catalytic converter and caused damage to my exhaust. Blue Springs said they aren't responsible for damage to customer cars waiting for service on their lot. Again, the Kia dealer said they would have it fixed for me. So far, it's been over 3 weeks, my car has been damaged while at Hyundai, they haven't fixed the original issues, and are refusing to fix the damage done by thieves. I will NEVER buy a car or take one for service at ANY McCarthy dealer EVER. More
We bought a car here 2 years ago and returned yesterday to purchase another one. Both times Rodney Sutherlin was our salesman. Rodney is quite helpful and a no pressure person. For those who know me I am not usually one to put a review or an opinion on facebook or any social media but this time I felt compelled to express my experience and disdain for how things were handled. review or an opinion on facebook or any social media but this time I felt compelled to express my experience and disdain for how things were handled. I am considering buying a new car and I especially wanted to go with the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited trim. I saw that there was one at McCarthy Hyundai in Blue Springs. I went to look at it and fell in love with it. I knew that I would not get a deal and that I would probably have to pay the sticker price due to the chip shortage and new car shortage. I was going back in the afternoon to test drive as I had an appointment I had to be at and if I liked the drive I had every intention of buying. I asked the sales associate to send me via email the out the door price for the car. Imagine my shock when I read the email and the price was $4500.00 above sticker price. When I questioned this the sales associate said they do a market adjustment due to the shortage and they also added a package called McCarthy Assurance which cost $999.00. When I said that I would not want that package (it included wheel locks which you can buy for $65, first oil change free which is complete as Hyundai offers free service maintenance for 3 years or 36,000 miles and a couple of other minor things) the sales associate said that wasn’t a choice and I had to get that package and that even he an employee had to buy that package when he bought a car. So that was $999.99 for a package that I didn’t want and $3500.00 over sticker. Talk about greedy price gouging. The MSRP sticker price already makes them a healthy profit. I did check with the other Hyundai dealers and was told that they do not do a market adjustment and seemed shocked about the McCarthy Assurance Package that was forced on someone. I know someone has probably bought that car at the ridiculously overcharged price and I also know that McCarthy Hyundai probably does not care that they permanently lost me as a customer, They will continue to gouge and be greedy and people will continue to accept that and pay the price but if I can just get one person to think twice about purchasing and overpaying from the McCarthy Auto group then I feel that it was worth it More

I brought my car in without an appointment, due to a flat tire and needing a fender liner replacement. They worked me in on a very busy day. Put a new tire on and ordered a new fender liner. Because it was a holiday I called and left a message. I received a message hey would call me the next day. I discovered the old fender liner had been put in the trunk and was flying around causing the thump I was hearing. Raymond Rodgers was the service man that took care of the car. Robert was the salesman that Wolf me the car and the one to email me about my concerns right away. Thanks again for taking care of this right away. More
