Now that I am more knowledgeable about my Civic with regards to what my vehicle was serviced for, I will know what to look for next time. Everything is a learning experience and I am glad to have taken regards to what my vehicle was serviced for, I will know what to look for next time. Everything is a learning experience and I am glad to have taken my car to Honda. CarMax is a great company but they have many types of vehicles and are not very knowledgeable about all vehicles. That is why is you want information about a certain type of object, you need to go to the place that does nothing but look at/service that type of object all day. They know more than a someone that looks at all types of objects but never really masters the one that you own. Thanks so much!! More
In 2004 I leased a Honda Oddessy from O'Neil. When I took the van in for warranty service, the service man treated me like an idiot. Almost always, he tried to blame me for what was wrong; ie, tail lig took the van in for warranty service, the service man treated me like an idiot. Almost always, he tried to blame me for what was wrong; ie, tail light out, would not start, etc. Only one time, a service tech had left a bungee cord of sorts on the front wheel when it was serviced................that surprised him - not my fault for a change. I bought a new Honda Fit in 2008 and looked everywhere except O'Neill. I bought it in Lawrence. I could not endure service visits at O'Neill. This visit was for two recalls - window motor and headlights. Chad Mallory was very attentive to the situation, and treated me like an adult. The service was done promptly. I really appreciated the complete check of the car's systems. I feel very comforted knowing that I can now do business with O'Neill again. You need more employees like Mr. Mallory. More
My Ridgeline was stolen and then recovered with damage, some of which was apparent and some of which was not. I was leaving the country for over two weeks and in a pinch. O'Neill Honda is an approved shop some of which was apparent and some of which was not. I was leaving the country for over two weeks and in a pinch. O'Neill Honda is an approved shop with my insurance company and I took the truck straight from the impound lot to O'Neill Honda. They worked with my insurance company, went through the vehicle thoroughly and found some damage that was not readily apparent. They changed all of the fluids in my truck and when I returned, the truck was ready and as good as it was before it was stolen. More
People ask me if I like my "new" used honda. And I wish I could say I love it but I'm very disappointed with the car. It sounded great when I bought it because it had gone through a very "thoro And I wish I could say I love it but I'm very disappointed with the car. It sounded great when I bought it because it had gone through a very "thorough" testing and everything was "certified". Well I don't know how they missed the rough drive and issues with the down shift in the car. It jerks when I let off the gas and or step on the brake. The doors get stuck for no reason. One day they work and the next day they're broken. Just like the weather in Kansas, if you wait awhile it will change. The tires make really bad noises at higher speeds so you can't have the windows rolled down because they are not balanced right. The brakes are squeaking and there some noise under the engine when I start the car in the morning that sounds awful but I haven't figured that one out yet. So no, I'm not impressed with the car, the "certified" sticker or the dealership in taking care of it. I brought the car in to get serviced on the door handle which was clearly broken and they told me all the other problems were not anything they could fix. My old chevy venture rode better than this car and that was a piece of junk at 170,000 miles. My bubble has been bursted about Hondas. I took it into the body shop because the bumper already had a broken liner on it which I had to duct tape until it got fixed. They did a nice job. I had told several peo0ple about my concerns but not one person said "that doesn't sound right. Let's take a look at it." They all shrugged at me and went on. I would have thought Honda had better customer service but I'm seeing through that as well. I will take it to my service guys at NTB to find out what is really going on before I bring it back to be serviced at the dealership. More
Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was able to negotiate and purchase a vehicle in a few hours and was very happy with the result. I had previously been to another Honda dealership and the able to negotiate and purchase a vehicle in a few hours and was very happy with the result. I had previously been to another Honda dealership and the service was so bad I walked away even though they had the vehicle I wanted. Happy to recommend O'Neill and will be using this dealership again. More
My first purchase was back in 1998 and I have been coming back ever since. My experience was pleasant, Doug was honest and up front about any questions I had. What I appreciated the most was I was not made back ever since. My experience was pleasant, Doug was honest and up front about any questions I had. What I appreciated the most was I was not made to feel like the "Dumb Woman" buying a car! More
This was the easiest vehicle purchase we have ever had. Our sales person was very informative on all the features and details regarding our van and the process. We really love our new van. The dealership as a whole was great. I have never bought a car by myself before and all of my questions were answered thoroughly. Jim lacked the knowledge about the product I would have liked, but he was n a car by myself before and all of my questions were answered thoroughly. Jim lacked the knowledge about the product I would have liked, but he was nice and professional. I pretty much knew what I wanted when I went in so it was an easy sale. I was glad he did not try to talk me into getting more car than I needed. The financial guy was great. He explained everything thoroughly with humor. When I changed my mind about buying the extended warranty, he took it off no questions asked. I appreciated that. More
My windshield wipers quit working during a snow/sleet storm. After making several stops on my way home from work (I drive 30 miles one way) to clean the windshield, I called O'Neill Honda, where I purch storm. After making several stops on my way home from work (I drive 30 miles one way) to clean the windshield, I called O'Neill Honda, where I purchased my car, as soon as I got home. The person I talked to explained that they were completely full the next day (Friday) and I wouldn't be able to get in until Monday. Windshield wipers in the winter are something you can't live without. We discussed my problem and he asked me to drive over that evening if I could make it before 6. He tried to fix them for me but with further investigation realized that I needed a new part, which they had in their parts department. They fit me in at 7:15 the next morning and I was only my way by 9:00 with new working windshield wipers. The service manager that worked with me, Robert Park, couldn't have been more accomodating. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. And, the best news is, the job was all under my bumper-to-bumper warranty that I purchased when I bought my used Honda Accord at O'Neill 2 years ago.
