Best new car experience I had been searching for a new car for two months and knew what to expect when visiting a dealership. This time was different. Eric, the salesman, did not waste my time and knew the details of the CX5 that I was looking for. He had the car ready for me to see when I arrived, reviewed the description of the car, had me do a test drive while my car was being assessed for a trade, and reviewed my options for payment. The fact that he was organized with the information I wanted and was knowledgeable about the product made me confident that he was by far ahead of other salesmen in meeting my needs as a buyer. I ended up driving a new car home the same day. Although this dealership is not the closest for me I am willing to return to it when needed in the future. Other employees I worked with were equally helpful. More

After much searching, I came across Vic Bailey Mazda in Spartanburg, South Carolina (we live in the mountains of North Carolina). Once again, because it was out of state for us, we were not sure we wanted to commit to a car we had not driven or drive 100 miles or so, just to try the car. Since we had driven a CX-5 locally, but were unimpressed with the dealership, we decided to give it a try. Eric Paccione, the sales person, was very patient and helpful during this process that lasted about 10 days of exchanging e-mails to answer our questions. Eric and all the people that we dealt with very polite and business like, yet friendly. There was no high pressure to buy the car or any add-ons. In addition, these folks went the extra mile in offering us a very fair trade for our older car. Over the years, we purchased a number cars, and I can truly say this was, by far, the most pleasant experience in buying a new car we have ever experinced. I can honestly say that this was the best experience that I have ever had buying a car. I knew what I wanted and mostly how I wanted it configured when I arrived at the dealership. The staff was low key, not pushy and very helpful. They helped me to make the final decisions on options. They came across as knowledgeable and they were very thorough in terms of explaining things including the technology in the vehicle. I feel that I received a good price for my Forester - which I'm really enjoying. I have already recommended this dealership to several people. More

Upgrading wife's ride I spent about a year researching makes and models on the market, in parallel with convincing my wife that the minivan we bought when the kids were in I spent about a year researching makes and models on the market, in parallel with convincing my wife that the minivan we bought when the kids were in booster seats was no longer appropriate since they're teenagers and soon to be licensed drivers themselves. I've never been a fan of the minivan ride or handling, but couldn't argue the practicality. For a time. Being an engineer, I kept coming back to the Subaru for a number of reasons, with safety ratings, boxer engine, all wheel drive and continuously variable transmission topping the list. The Vic Bailey Imports dealership isn't far from home, but we had never dealt with it. We knew the owner and his wife from church, and decided that we likely couldn't go wrong. Our shopping and buying experience was pleasant, including the minivan's trade-in deal. We drove away in our new Outback satisfied that the vehicle and the entire transaction were both excellent and exceeded our expectations. I was not incorrect in my determination that Subaru is a top-class automobile, and Vic has a world-class operation. In my opinion, you'd have to spend a lot more money to beat our new car. This will be our first choice the next time we are in the market for a new ride. More

We had been negotiating with a dealership in Charlotte that was also very nice to deal with (no pressure and prof service we received was top notch. We had been negotiating with a dealership in Charlotte that was also very nice to deal with (no pressure and professional), however they couldn't come close to matching the price. Neely Bailey was extremely responsive to work with and after three or four phone calls we secured a price and she delivered the car to us (Charlotte) the next day. She found the exact car we wanted even though it wasn't on their lot. I would buy through Costco again in a minute and would recommend this dealership very, very highly. The experience was actually pleasant! I can't comment on the service department as the car is brand new and we will be having it serviced in Charlotte. More

This is the second Subaru we have bought from Jeff Smith. We live in NC and send out emails for quotes on the car we would like to purchase. We drive to Spartanburg and the car is clean and ready for us to drive off the lot. We test drive it and then sign the papers. This last trip we had a small accident on the way to get the car. Jeff and the mechanic at Vic Bailey Subaru were kind enough to look at the car we drove down (the first Subaru we purchased two years ago) and make sure it was safe enough to make it up the mountain. You don't find many dealerships that are interested in your safety just your wallet. I have already picked out my next car...yes, it's Subaru and I'm calling Jeff first!! More
