Service department is excellent. I make 200 mile round trip to get service here. They really treat the customers well. I received a coupon in the mail for a “complimentary oil change”. I reluctantly scheduled an appointment at the dealership, and when I brought my car in I expected to be bombarded with things my car needed change”. I appreciate that they just changed my oil and filter, and also rotated my tires. They also inspected tires, battery, belts, fluids, brakes, and AC system, and did not try to upsell me an anything. All of this was done…for free! More
I have always been skeptical about dealerships. Bad experiences, oil changes that never happened etc. Mazda of South Charlotte must be the real exception. There is just a drift about the service department that is all about competence and friendliness. They simply know what they are doing and go about it like pros. I purchase my CX5 at MOSC and I never felt pushed or you know the feeling!!! Maybe it’s in the hiring, management or a combo of both but it always feels right. Thanks Andrew, you and your service crew can not improve. An A plus is simply an A plus. Keep it up!!!!!!! More
After taking my car to Mazda of South Charlotte today to have my Android Play, which was installed there, repaired, I was told that it was FINE, that it was my phone or cord which was the problem. This is an edit from a previous post because this is my thirds Mazda purchased from South Charlotte, Mazda. We just purchased our 5th Mazda from this dealer (my 3rd). My last two were the Mazda 6 that I ab thirds Mazda purchased from South Charlotte, Mazda. We just purchased our 5th Mazda from this dealer (my 3rd). My last two were the Mazda 6 that I absolutely loved but I had to turn it in as it was a lease. This time we purchased a red CX5 signature series. I was really torn between the Touring Reserve and the signature (not much of a price difference IMO. The leather inside of the signature was nice although for some reason felt stiff. I asked Hunter (great no pressure and eager to please salesman) to go for a ride with me to help me decide. While he felt the same way Imdid he explained that the leather will feel more cushy once stalled into, which makes sense. Also, although I’v e driven Mazda’s over the last 10 years, I didn’t know how to use some of the systems. Hunter took the time and sat in the car with me to make sure I understood and felt comfortable using them. I’ve had many cars, a Cadillac, BMW 5 series, Suburban, and without a doubt, even over my BMW, I love the Mazda (odd thing to say but true); the interior to me is much nicer. Also, while Hendricks and the Cadillac dealers are very accommodating when bringing your car in for service, Mazda do South Charlotte is the same but I’ve never had to wait an extended period of time for any service ... basically get in the waiting area, set myself up to do work, start or go back to something, and get called that it’s done. Yes, that fast. We also found the same car much cheaper elsewhere and not only did Hunter beat the price, we received and additional $1600.00 credit for being returned customers. This brought the price down for less than a touring reserve. FYI: the touring reserve and signature have heads up display. The negative, the last couple times I paid for car detailing, it was not up to par for me. Unless they’ve changed for the better, get your car detailed elsewhere. More
