I am so sorry that we could not expedite your process. I hope you believe that we attempt to take customers time into consideration. Unfortunately we also have to be courteous to the order in which a customer was in line for financing. It's a very thin line between being respectful of your needs but not disrespectful to the customers who were either here before you or decided to purchase prior to you. We are working towards expediting each of the steps further and I hope we have another chance to earn your business in the future.

You are missing the point. This deal was agreed and negotiated by 6 pm on Fri evening but it took another 90 minutes to pay the deposit. I returned at 10 am on Saturday morning (as I had advised I would) with the balance of the cash to finalize the purchase. Given the delay on Friday evening I was concerned and made it very clear before I left that evening that I had time constraints on Saturday morning as I had a flight to catch. But nonetheless I was obliged to wait once more and finally at midday was dismayed at being asked to wait again so that the car could be detailed. What craziness was this, why wasn't this already done the previous evening or that morning. I had no option than to say "forget it" I'm an expert on internal control and can understand the need for separation of duties (a person other than the sales person accepting the cash), but this should be slick and cause no inconvenience to the customer. If I was financing the deal I might expect to wait for the appropriate person and can accept that there may be more that one customer waiting. But why does a cash customer need to see this person? Any available manager (other that the initial sales person) should be trained and capable of completing a cash deal. And have you considered whether you are adequately staffed? Seems to me your attitude is that being attentive to the customer is not a priority once they have agreed to purchase. Do yo think my time has no value?. The senior sales manager in your organization needs to sort this out with your financial controller because this process is costing you business, I for one won't be back. I missed my flight that day because of your attitude.

I can understand you frustration on the car not being detailed. Generally I would expect it to be ready when you scheduled a pickup. I will research that for you. Unfortunately finance still has to follow the order of customers in the dealership at the time you arrive . As much as we try to schedule pickups at times you can get in and out quickly rare times that lines up with a rush of business. We really apologize for that and truly attempt to prevent it. We will do better I promise.
