DO NOT PURCHASE USED FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! !! This is my second review but I have more information to share. Background: I purchased a Corvette from Mazda of Palm Beach on 3/31. The sales p !! This is my second review but I have more information to share. Background: I purchased a Corvette from Mazda of Palm Beach on 3/31. The sales process was excellent. The price negotiation was professional and the closing was efficient and simple. Within a week I experienced problems that would have absolutely been found in a "multi-point inspection". I explained the problem with a sales manager, who was very cordial. I told the sales manager that I had the minor problems corrected locally and that I would appreciate if Mazda of Palm Beach would reimburse me for the parts. It was my choice to have the vehicle fixed locally using another shop, so I was willing to accept paying the labor charges for these minor repairs. For weeks I was met with, "I'll talk to my manager" and "sorry I haven't gotten back to. Our systems were down". Shockingly, I was contacted within five days of my original review going live on DealerRater. Isn't it interesting that no one wanted to speak with me for weeks but right after I left a perfectly honest review about how I was treated, suddenly people were chasing me down! I was promised that they were going to "make this right". I appreciated the gesture and I sent the invoice from my local dealership supporting my claims and again requested only to be reimbursed for the parts and not the labor. "Yes sir! We'll get a check right out to you!". Excellent - thank you very much! And I will investigate how to modify or remove my review upon receipt of said check! That exchange occurred on 4/21 and it is 5/5 as I type this updated review. For anyone who is still reading, I ask you this question: Do you think it takes two weeks for a letter to go from Palm Beach FL to Naples FL? I don't either. Do yourself a favor. Do NOT purchase anything other than a new or a certified pre-owned from this dealership. They are excellent on the front-end. The sales process is professional and the paperwork is processed efficiently - I could not have been happier. If you purchase a non CPO vehicle from this dealership, in the unlikely event you have a problem, irrespective of how minor, they are not going to want to hear anything from you and if you finally get their attention by leaving a negative review online, they will contact you and tell you whatever it is they think you want to hear while they will make it clear that they would like you to remove or modify your negative review. One more piece of advice: Wait until they actually make good on promises before you modify your review. To the management team of this dealership: My name is Jim and I'm the only one who bought a Corvette from your dealership on 3/31. You now know exactly who I am. Don't bother having any of your people call me again once this review goes live. You've shown me exactly who you are and I believe you. My Corvette is pretty darn sweet and people ask me about it all the time in my community. I promise you that I will give them the most honest assessment of your dealership and your business practices. You had a really sweet Aston Martin and Bentley in your showroom - there is a significant target audience for those vehicles here in Naples and I will do my part to ensure that when you finally sell them, it won't be to someone in my area. And all I will have to do is tell them that you ghosted me over $400. Nice work. More
