Now the financial department is where they try to sell a whole bunch of stuff you most likely won’t need (extended warranties - you can sue if it’s a lemon car so no need for them) (service contracts - can DIY oil changes/filters so no need for us). They tacked on an alarm that cost nearly $1000 after taxes. For us $1K is an easy day of work and we didn’t want to argue over it. To others $1K is a whole lot of money for a car alarm which you can get installed elsewhere for $200-$300 max. BE AWARE and pay attention in the financial department!!! They WILL snatch your money and bump up the total price of the car even though y’all agreed on the car price with the salesperson. Updating review to include that the car has visible scratches and markings which requires a full detailing and paint correction. Dealer sold the original car we agreed to in the first place and provided another vehicle which was visibly super dirty but they washed for us upon sale. Paid a little over $34k for a CX5 Select model. Excellent pristine FICO score over 800. Annual income over $200k. Could have cashed out the car but decided to just finance at the clutch APR (got 0.9% APR) and pay it off in a year to try and boost credit score even more! Not too shabby of an experience but the aggressive tactics to make the dealer some more money from the customers after agreeing to a car price ain’t cool. Check y’all financial department before y’all get wrecked by the competitor a couple miles away. My friend just got the same exact model from Tustin Mazda the next day and they didn’t push her to get warranties and tack on any alarm systems. Totally different vibes there. Long story short go to Tustin Mazda if y’all want the UPFRONT, CLEAR, no BS, no pushy warranty/alarms/extra crap installed on the car buying experience!! They’re not too far from Orange! More
