Bait and switch pricing tactics I got a pre-approval from Capital One to go to a sales event at Mazda of North Miami. So, I checked their inventory of cars that were available with t I got a pre-approval from Capital One to go to a sales event at Mazda of North Miami. So, I checked their inventory of cars that were available with the prices of the cars in which was a direct link from Capital One. I found a car that I was interested in and the price was online for $18,988 for an Audi A5. So when I got there the next day, the car did not have a sticker price listed on the vehicle. Now, while I'm test driving the vehicle, I asked what was the price for the car and Yeyca Quintero told me $19,500. Once we got back to the dealership to make a deal on the car my wife checked the online price and was still listed at $18,988. We asked why are you quoting $19,500 when online price states differently. We were told " the car is really $21,000 and that price listed is wrong." I was then told that "the price of $18,988 is for qualified credit customers, but let me go and talk to my manager to see if we can give you that price". Now, she comes back and says " my manager okayed the $18,988 price. The Manager then walked into the office and started talking about $1000 dealership fee plus an unknown amount that Capital One is going to charge me for my preapproval. He then goes on about other fees in which I did not care of hearing about. At that moment, I told them that I am not interested any more. My overall experience was that these people at this dealership are all crooks in that they are preying on people with below average credit. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. The broker did not answer any questions about the policy and I had to call my insurance company afterwards. She didn't really seem to care about her job.
