I came in the next day, test drove it, signed the paper work, traded in my vehicle, and left with a new car, all under 2 hours. I was in-and-out very fast and I genuinely enjoyed my experience, great service and great people. Lily was the product specialist I worked with, she's very good at what she does. More

I've exercised great restraint in writing a review of how horrible the service has been but I continue to experience horrible service 8 months into my lease. My 2016 Mazda 6 is great but the service from these folks have been truly THE WORST! Thats pretty much my main point but if you're interested in the horrific details, read on... April 2016: While waiting to pick up the Hyundai Sonata I was going to purchase from down the street from the Mazda dealership, my wife and I took a walk past the Mazda dealership. The Mazda 6 caught our eye so we went for a test drive. The car drove very well and kind of sold itself. I made the sales rep (Ammar Safeh) aware of what I was willing to spend as well as what amenities I wanted in the car. I also made it very clear that I was not going to waste his or my time negotiating. Ammar informed me I will not be able to get the car with the options I wanted at the price I wanted. Understood, no hard feelings I returned to Hyundai to get the car I was going to buy. Though it was a sleezy move, I respect his drive to close the deal... Ammar had the audacity to walk down to the Hyundai dealership just before I closed the deal and pulled me out to tell me he can get me the car I want at the price I want. Great! Ammar made good on his word and got me the car I wanted at the price I wanted. He also informed me that the Mazda Mobile Start (MMS) feature will allow me to start my car and adjust the climate control features from my mobile phone. Pretty cool feature I thought so I added that to the purchase (in addition to the subscription fee). I was unable to leave the dealership with the car that day as service had closed and they needed to install The MMS. Ammar told me to pick the car up the following Monday. I took a day off from work and drove over 70 miles from home to the dealership that Monday and the car was not ready!!! Ammar was not at the dealership and his supervisor (Sebastian Bergonzoli) was totally unaware of me being directed to pick up the car. Again I was told to return the next day. At that point, my ride to the dealership had left and I'm now left 70 miles from home without a car. They were not willing to provide a loaner car as I now was unable to pick up the car until at least 4 or 5 days later due to my work week. After almost 2 hours at the dealership, I was told to rent a car at my personal expense and they will "work with me". At this point, I didn't have much choice. The GM (Philip Van Riper) spoke to me via telephone and gave his apologies for the many inconveniences and told me to be sure to see him when I pick up the car. So I rent an economy car for a week for about $1000!!!! When I show up to the dealership to pick up my brand new Mazda 6 after being told it was ready, I had to wait almost an hour for them to return it from the car wash. As the driver pulled up in the car, I see glue marks all over the hood and roof of the vehicle from where the protective stickers were. When I requested reimbursement for the rental vehicle, I was told I had to wait for a check to be issued (the check did come weeks later). I'm thinking, "The GM asked to see me. Maybe he will comp a month's payment, maybe they'll throw in some free mud flaps, floor mats, air freshners. SOMETHING!!!" NOPE... Mr. Van Riper sits me in his office, has me recite this horror story, shakes my hand and apologizes for my experience and tells me to reach out to him directly if theres anything he can do to earn my continued business. September 2016: Took the car for it's first service. So remember that Mazda Mobile Start (MMS) app that I mentioned earlier? I requested Philip Van Riper as he told me previously to address him directly in the event of any future issues or questions but as usual, he was not available. I mentioned to the service department and sales (Ammar and Sebastian) that the MMS app does not have the features as described by Ammar when I purchased the vehicle. While I can start the car from my mobile phone, I can not adjust the climate controls as this is not a function of the app. Following the service, I was told Mr. Van Riper will be in contact with me. Almost 4 months later, I'm still awaiting that contact. December 2016: Nearing my next service interval for my Mazda 6, I have been trying to reach Mr. Van RIper for weeks now and left numerous messages requesting a callback. Now in the market for another vehicle (3rd row SUV) but I will not make the mistake of New Rochelle Mazada again. I just got off the phone with Sebastian, who I'm sure was not thrilled to hear from me regarding this SAME issue so he forwarded me to Freei (I'm almost sure I spelled his name wrong) in the service department. Freei was very professional and attentive to my issue. Freei took the time to hear out my concern and assured me that either he or Mr. Van Riper will be in contact with me by 12/27/16. I'll keep ya posted. More

They pride themselves on giving the customer a great experience, and I can say my experience there was excellent. Kenneth was very helpful from the first time we spoke on the phone down to showing me the features of the car as I was about to drive it home. You could tell it was a busy night for them and so I had to wait a little, but they kept everything moving. I felt I got a very fair deal and there were no surprises. It all went smoothly and I couldn't ask for more. Most of my interaction was done online, and Barry was instrumental in making sure I had all the info I needed along the way to make the right decision and he got me what I wanted. Kamil in finance is clearly a pro and had everything wrapped up for me in no time. I love the car and I'm a very happy customer! Thanks guys. More

No hidden fees, few gimmicks and friendly sales people. We recently bought a used CX-5 from this dealership. Before making it to Mazda of New Rochelle, we went to 4 or 5 other dealers to test drive vehicles and generally shop around. Every other dealer used obnoxious, high-pressure sales tactics, repeatedly asking us what they could do to make us sign right away, making us wait to speak to a manager before letting us leave, etc. Anmar at Mazda of New Rochelle was a welcome change. He was friendly and helpful without being pushy, and when we said we wanted to think things over he said we should do that before making such a big decision. He also assured us that the dealer had no hidden fees - the price we had seen on the internet was the true asking price on the car. His attitude clinched the deal - we were so sick of all the hidden fees at other dealers (sometimes in the thousands of dollars), and we were happy to give our business to someone who didn't badger us into making a quick decision. When we signed the financing paperwork the manager, Philip, was, comparatively speaking, a little pushier, trying to upsell us on extended warranties and the like, but not too bad, overall. I would definitely recommend this dealer. More
Endless problems and terrible customer service. As another person said, if there was a 0 option available we'd put it. My boyfriend and I leased a Mazda CX-5 in August and are still having issues with closing everything out with them! I could go on and on but will mention a few... 1. A month had passed by and I went to change our account for our first payment on the car and come to find out they didn't even finalize anything yet. How that is possible I don't even know.... Oh and it looked bad on our credit because it was never paid!... They also agreed to pay the second month and have yet to do so which again reflected on our credit.. Way to go with customer service! Just kidding 2. they tried screwing us over when trying to pick up the car by trying to change the amount originally agreed to. We sat there for 3 hours our salesperson and Barry Debany (The General manager) were scrambling to get to the number originally agreed upon. Our insurance card are under both my name and my boyfriends name, Mazda called our insurance and had one name removed from the card and told them the other name should only be on the insurance binder. How difficult could this be to do?! 4. We told them multiple times that we both were to be on the registration, we both signed to be on the registration as well. The registration card came in the man and once again, it only had one name on the card! 5. Our XM radio is supposed to be set up for us and have 3 months of free usage, it's still not working. We've been back and forth with Barry and Sebastian Bergonzoli (Sales Manager/Finance) with all of our issues, but Mazda New Rochelle doesn't care. 6. Every time we've had and issue they never reached out to us, but we had to call and Find out... They never call you back and will leave you on hold and hang up on you. If you want to talk to someone do not give the receptionist your name, just tell him who you need to speak with because they will not answer if they know there's an issue... So now 2 months later we still yet to have a resolution to our issues with the 2nd payment or the insurance card. ... If you go there for a car, the sales side may seem smooth but seriously reconsider it because the process thereafter is continuously frustrating and apparently endless. More
