He was friendly, knowledgeable, and inspired trust. He had a great loop in in his back pocket for the test drive, and was able to answer all of my questions. When I wanted to browse the available models on the lot, he let me do so without hovering or trying to sell anything. All in all, a great experience. The dealership building itself is a little dingy, but Bob tells me they're renovating next year, which will be welcome. The one frustration in the experience was the time it took to have my car detailed before I could drive off the lot -- I had been there all afternoon, and I was ready to go! Certainly not Bob's fault, but perhaps a little more attention to the post-sale process would be good. Everyone I dealt with was polite and friendly, and there was a minimum of high-pressure salesmanship. Highly recommended. More

Would do it again I had been researching the Mazda CX5 for years and had compared the vehicle to 5+ other competitors. This car had the combined interior/exterior that I had been researching the Mazda CX5 for years and had compared the vehicle to 5+ other competitors. This car had the combined interior/exterior that I was looking for as well as the safety/reliability reviews at a fair price. It had been 10 years since purchasing a new vehicle so I knew what I wanted and I did my homework. I went through the Costco program as I do not like to haggle. I'm still not sure if I got the best deal but I probably saved hours of time negotiating the price so I would do it again. Costco sent me to Gladstone Mazda. They reached out to me immediately following my inquiry. The dealership had an extensive inventory with every color combination imaginable. I was disappointed that none of the vehicles come with a light interior, the only option is all black or black with parchment (light) seats which looks a little funky but I just didn't want an all black interior vehicle. Julio was the sales rep that worked with us. He knew the vehicle and he took his time with all of the questions that I asked. We took a long test drive to test out the features and he was very relatable. I hate the pushy sales routine and it was refreshing to not have that happen during the test drive. The only time I felt pushed was once we began the paperwork process and some of the up-selling began with the protective coat, etc. What would have been an excellent review fell to above average. In the end the dealership found the exact car I had asked for and they had it sent to the dealership. Financing was typical, the first offer was way to high. I had to state exactly what I was willing to finance and how I was going to do it and then they came right back and did so. The extended warranty process was also typical as the quotes continue to be put in front of me based on the monthly payment. I repeatedly asked what the total price was so that I could determine if it was worth my money. They also had no paperwork that I could take away with me outlining the extended warranty options and stated it would come in the mail (after the fact). It would be a huge improvement it they could at least provide a high level hand out of each plan. The vehicle was ready with the add on features a head of schedule which was great. Manny worked with us when we picked up the vehicle and he was very personable and knowledgeable. He walked through the warranty, the manuals and he sat in the car with us and provided a detailed demonstration of all the bells and whistles (he also set up my phones on bluetooth). If I were buying another vehicle I would go to Gladstone Mazda again. I would be happy to work with either Julio or Manny. I've yet to work with the service department but at the time of sale they did do an introduction to the service department which was a nice touch. More
Excellent customer service and understanding our needs Honestly if it wasn't for Lynn Sanchez and Bob, I don't know what we would have done. Gladstone of Mazda listened and worked with our circumstances and didn't pressure us into anything. Such great service, and everyone was so nice. Seriously they will take care of you, again Lynn and Bob did so much for us. I almost felt like it was to much to ask, but they didn't make us feel ashamed of anything for our circumstances. Great dealership and worth your time. More

However this review is about our salesperson Lynn, she is an awesome lady who not only went the extra mile to help us achieve our goal but was so personable and friendly that my wife and I really had a great experience buying this vehicle. Looked for 2 months ~ BEST EVER! I am embarrassed to admit that when I first started my search 2 months ago...Lynn contacted me. I ignored her. (BAD ME!!) Then, when I did decide to contact her it was after hours and she even responded. Then, I went in the next day.....anxiety uh oh! This is my first time buying a car and I am happy that I purchased my Mazda 3 hatchback from Lynn. All of the staff are friendly, patient, and understanding. We met the Manager David, and talked with some of the Mazda Techs and encountered other staff. Outstanding service! Lynn will take care of you!!! This whole buying a car process is overwhelming for me.They made the buying process simple for me and made sure I understood everything. If I asked 20 questions, Lynn would answer them! ;) I have anxiety (it started to kick in & I didn't tell anyone)...right away Lynn addressed my anxiety to make sure that I was comfortable, and if I needed fresh air, another drink or needed to talk things over with my good friend (who happens to be a Certified Mazda Tech) who has been car shopping with me for the past 2 months. - The car is in excellent condition. I am super excited about my new (used) car!!!! Keep in mind Lynn has done a test drive with us; my mechanic/friend, we looked over carfax, talked with the other Certified Mazda techs, and met the Manager there....We told them we really like the car, BUT we had one more car to look at down the road at another dealer. They said sure, we don't want you to buy something you are not going to be happy with (they understand purchasing a car is a huge cost and might take time for someone to find the right one or within their budget).. After visiting the other dealership we were back In about 15 minutes later talking with Lynn :) Pleased to say I am truly happy I went to Lynn and Mazda of Gladstone...I found my car :) I can tell that Lynn cares about YOU! ~ Amy More
Shining Star I have bought a few cars in my lifetime. However only once have I met such a incredible sales person. I felt no pressure to buy, I gave Lynn many reasons for her to help someone else and yet she stood by me the entire way, letting me feel that I was all that mattered. She never gave up on all my desires over the phone and reassured me that what ever I needed in the car she would do her best to get exactly what I was trying to find. I have never had a more enjoyable time in a car dealership. I did get the car I was looking for and Im having a blast driving it. On a personal note Lynn was so kind to sit and listen to all my family issues and even stayed well past closing to make sure I understood everything about the car I was buying. Even though she was concerned for me and my car buying experience, her daughter did call and Lynn even asked me if it was ok if she could take the call. Lynn Im proud of you, and how hard you have worked for your family. Customers may be #1 but in times family is always first. Mazda you have a gem in Lynn and If I was you I would watch all these reviews and take note...You don't want to lose such a exceptional sales person. I secured the car with a $200 refundable deposit and drove 4 hours to Gladstone, both the wife and I took a lengthy test drive and took the plunge. Manny was both very helpful and knowledgeable about the car which made it that much easier to do business with them. Bought the car using Mazda financing. Dealing with their financing department was very plesant, easy, and quick. Another great thing about Mazda of Gladstone is that they never once tried to push dealer extras or add-ons, sure they mentioned them once and I told them that I was interested in any of that and that was the last I heard of it. Overall, very plesant car buying experience. More
