Got my dream car and exceptional service. I had found my dream car at Herzog-Meier Mazda, but really disliked the service I received from Herzog. They did not seem aggressive enough in working with me to find the price point I wanted and to give me options as to leasing or buying a vehicle. I started searching for another dealership and found Mazda Gladstone online because I was trying to see if they had the same car in their inventory. Someone immediately started talking to me online on their live chat when they saw I was searching for a vehicle. They did not have the vehicle I had fallen in love with, however, within the hour, Charity was contacting the other dealership to purchase the exact vehicle I had wanted from Herzog so that Gladstone could do business with me! It was great! Within two days I was in Gladstone's dealership signing the papers on the car. Charity and Manny took so much time and effort explaining how leasing a car works. They broke down the numbers for me on diagrams that showed how much my monthly payment for leasing versus buying would be if I put a certain amount down, and how long I wanted the lease or loan for, my interest rate, etc., and the options I would have after the lease was over. I felt like I was making an educated decision on what I wanted for my lifestyle and I did not feel pressure to go either way. I ultimately decided to lease the new vehicle and trade in my old vehicle. My old vehicle had a lot of problems with it and I got a fair price on the trade and it was so hassle free! Manny did an amazing job showing me all of the incredible features on my new car. Any time I have had a question on the vehicle I have been able to text message either Manny or Charity on my cell phone which has been hugely convenient during my work schedule. Both of them were honest with me and authentic. They've been extremely helpful since I left the lot and have checked up on me multiple times. I could not have asked for a better experience and I will be doing future business with them at Mazda Gladstone. More

I gave them a price that I could handle, and they honored it, without including any hidden fees or trying to upsell me. When I had questions, I didn't have to wait for responses, Emileigh was efficient at getting back to me with the information that I needed. I expected buying my first new car to be a long and painful experience, but Emileigh made it quick and easy by listening to what I wanted, and not trying to sell me something that would ultimately make her more money. I will definitely recommend Mazda of Gladstone to anyone buying a new car in the future. More

Easy purchase, good value I did my research and found the car I knew I wanted to buy: a Mazda CX-5 Touring Edition. There are 6 Mazda dealerships within an hours drive of me. I I did my research and found the car I knew I wanted to buy: a Mazda CX-5 Touring Edition. There are 6 Mazda dealerships within an hours drive of me. I did my research and found out the dealership purchase cost and markup, so I knew what was fair and what the boundaries were for a no-deal. Dealers aren't going to give away the car, after all. I test drove at one dealership, and then sought competitive bids from all six dealers in my area through the online quote system. I'll just say the quotes varied widely, MSRP varied by over $3,000 from lower starting bid to highest. I used the online system to make my deal. Some dealerships had a very weak online presence and didn't know how to communicate the specifics of a deal through email, they just wanted my body in the showroom. Others were like a first date; awkward and terse exchanges, not really sure where you stand on the deal. With Mazda Gladstone, I had a great online negotiation. Having had deals in hand from a few dealers and doing the online research on what the bottom line was for the dealership, I knew the cards I could play. But Gladstone of course knew the cards too, and we got down to a good, fair deal in about 3 email exchanges. I have to give credit to Chad in the online sales department, he made me feel comfortable and locked down the specifics for me quickly. Chad gets an A+ for pulling me in. When I got to the dealership my dealer Bob was out on a call, but I didn't have to wait long. He had called me when I was arranging the purchase and I knew I was in good hands. I had already secured financing but this dealer isn't able to do indirect lending, a negative for me because I had already secured lending through my credit union. I decided to proceed with the purchase anyway. Bob, my sales associate, was great. He took the time to show me the specifics of the vehicle that I wasn't able to research online. He made it a personable purchase experience, which up to that point was totally online. I honestly liked the guy and enjoyed talking with him about the car. He was the personal connection that made the buying experience for me. I worked with Nathan (I think that's his name) to make the deal on paper. We talked about the current warranty, sign here, sign there. He tried to sell me the extended warranty and almost convinced me. Good salesman, I'd be wary trying to negotiate with him on an empty stomach. He knows his stuff. It was a few months of personal work figuring out what car to get. It was a few days worth of time sending email blasts to dealers to get conversations started. Once I landed on Mazda Gladstone, it was about an hours worth of time through calls and email to set up the purchase, and then just under 3 hours from arriving at the dealership to pulling off in my new car. After that, zoom zoom. I was off. The leather steering column feels great. The pickup is smooth and fast. I feel good about the purchase, no regrets. If you are looking for a Mazda in the Portland Metro region (or even Bend or Salem), look to these folks. They are quite competitive and good to work with. More

They were unable to locate it for me and was going to be forced into ordering one. After double checking the Mazda website the one I was looking for popped up at this dealer. I called and spoke with Arturo and he ran out to the lot and took a picture to prove he had it. It had just come in the night before. I explained the price I was quoted by the other dealer and within the hour I had a promise of the same price and was told the car was mine. Drove down an hour later and took a quick test drive. The car was still wrapped in plastic. In 90 minutes my wife and I were driving away in our new Mazda for the exact price I was promised over the phone. The financing was good and we were approved for 2.79% within minutes. Of course there was the obligatory sales pitch by the finance guy to get us to buy add ons. He only pushed hard on the maintenance program but after explaining my reasons by declining it we moved on. I know they make extra commission on these and he disappointment was obvious but the process was painless otherwise. Arturo was excellent and knows his product. He answered every question I had by showing me the answer, no guessing. If he didn't know he looked it up in the manual and showed me his findings. He was funny and courteous, and obviously like what he does. The building is under construction so everything happens in a mobile trailer. Its a bit worn down but they is was comfortable and warm.
