A friendly personalized service visit On Oct 1, 2016 I brought in my new 2016 Mazda CX3 in for it's first maintenance visit. I was greeted by Kyle when I first arrived (my appointment was On Oct 1, 2016 I brought in my new 2016 Mazda CX3 in for it's first maintenance visit. I was greeted by Kyle when I first arrived (my appointment was at 8am). He was holding the door open for me right when I drove up and asked if I was Jessica even before I walked in the door. He obviously had looked at the scheduled prior to the start of the day. This was a nice surprise, most service centers, in my experience do not greet you so friendly. He kindly asked how my Saturday morning was going and got my information pulled up in the computer for the service guys to start on my car. He was very polite, friendly and made me feel like I was the only one there, I was the only one there at that time because it was 8am on a Saturday, ha ha. He directed me to the lounge area and said "coffee would be ready soon and that there are snacks and drinks on the counter." He also stated my car would take about 90 minutes to complete and I was happy to wait. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. He checked in on me a few times to see how I was doing to make sure I didn't need anything. He was very attentive and my car was done early. He explained all of the work that was done to the car and went over the check list with me. I didn't have too many questions because it was a regular maintenance and he had gone through everything so well. I have had poor experiences with previous service centers with a different dealer (non Mazda) dealer and I cringed each time my car was up for it's maintenance but with the experience I have had with Kyle at Mazda of Elk Grove, I will not feel that way anymore. If fact, my entire car buying and service center experience at Mazda of Elk Grove has been so amazing. I can't wait till my next oil/tire rotation. Thank you Kyle for making this a great visit. More
Great Service We decided after purchasing our new Mazda CX-5 that we wanted the Luxcare applied to the car. I called and talked to Jaik who arranged for us to bring We decided after purchasing our new Mazda CX-5 that we wanted the Luxcare applied to the car. I called and talked to Jaik who arranged for us to bring the car back and they arranged for a rental car for us. We took the car back and Jaik met us and took us over to the detail shop where we picked up the rental car. We came back the next day and the car was ready for us. The staff at the detail shop was very courteous to us. We went back to the dealership and Isiaha helped with some technical questions on the Navigation System and answered a few basic questions. Thank you for all your help. A+ and 5 Stars to everyone. More
Rx-8 Air Bag Recall service Brought my RX-8 in for the airbag recall, the appointment was for 1120am...the service was completed in less than 2 hours. Billy, the service writer Brought my RX-8 in for the airbag recall, the appointment was for 1120am...the service was completed in less than 2 hours. Billy, the service writer assured me that the job would be completed before 2pm, I was in my car at 140pm and on my way. I was also impressed with the comfort and amenities provided in the customer waiting area, My car was washed also, even though this was a no charge recall service. I am very impressed with the friendliness of all the employees that I came into contact with. More

My most recent experience with Kyle was above and beyond. He helped me with a new key battery but also got in my car to help me with my phone because I couldn't call all my contacts. kyle is a service rockstar! I've been coming here for the past two years for regular maintenance,I live near Roseville and drive all the way down here for service. Kyle has always been a pleasure to work with, knowing that my mileage is getting really up there (153k) I expected that the day would come that I would have a large repair. Well it happened last week. I called kyle 10 min before closing. He was very helpful as I was kinda freaking out. I was on the side of the road and he told me not to drive it as the AT light and Check engine light were flashing. He helped me through the after hours tow procedure as I've never done that before. I left a note on the car and he called me bright and early the next morning as I instructed. Turns out the brain for the transmission went at the cost of a grand. He was extremely helpful giving me updates on what was going on. I wasn't sure if I should write the car off or replace it. He was helpful in advising to repair it ect. These guys are great, they never ever try to upsale me or push other services that is the reason I keep coming back. If the car doesn't need it, they don't recommend it. More
Wouldn't go anywhere else I came in for a recall on my 2011 Mazda 3 and didn't expect them to be willing or happy to help since I wasn't actually purchasing anything. They proved me wrong all the staff was amazing and helpful and they were finished with my car faster then the estimated time and my car was even detailed and washed afterwards. I am so pleased with my experience here that I will definitely be coming back whenever I need any service done as well as to purchase my new Mazda when the time comes. More
Joe Kalem is the man This is the second time (out of many I'm sure) that I have brought in my mazda3 to get work done. This time around it was for my 65,000 mile check up. This is the second time (out of many I'm sure) that I have brought in my mazda3 to get work done. This time around it was for my 65,000 mile check up. I worked with the service advisor by the name of Joe Kalem. Joe really knows his stuff and was very enjoyable to talk too, not only for my car troubles but as a person. You can tell he goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and be personable. Service took a couple hours so I took a walk to the front of the dealership to the local Starbucks which made the two hours go by very quickly. I live in Citrus Heights and I am more than willing to make the drive over to the Elk Grove Mazda service center for the exceptional service that they give me time and time again. Thanks again Joe for the fun talk about pizza and 4th of July. Keep up the good work. More

My wife and two kids and I arrived tired and hungry on the tail end of an 8,500 mile cross-country road trip from CA to NY. Joe met us at the service center door and went straight to work getting our Mazda CX-9 checked in for an oil change and tire rotation and set up the shuttle to whisk us off to lunch at BJ's Restaurant nearby while the mechanics went to work. Joe also provided me with a quote for a new set of tires and answered all our questions. Joe's can-do attitude and pleasant demeanor made our experience smooth and worry-free. I only wish we lived closer...we'd come to Mazda of Elk Grove for all our service needs. Thank you for a great customer experience! More
The Elk Grove Mazda Team is Exceptional!! This is actually the SECOND time I've come into the dealership to arrange for service on my existing car and came out with a NEW one!! The sales team This is actually the SECOND time I've come into the dealership to arrange for service on my existing car and came out with a NEW one!! The sales team is SO helpful and fun to talk to that I wanted to buy a car from them even though I had had NO intention of purchasing one! Garrett sold me my Mazda 2 two and a half years ago and I have been wishing to have a bit larger vehicle with cruise control due to nerve damage in my feet. I'm a single mom and didn't think I could possibly find a way to move up to a better car. But, Michael K. and Garrett helped me so much and I'm now the proud owner of a gorgeous new Mazda 3! Michael is extremely patient and never left me hanging, wondering what was going on. He regularly kept me in the loop as the finance dept was figuring out how to get me into the new car without any collateral but my Mazda 2. In addition, Steve Wray made the financing/leasing process as smooth as silk. He's so easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor! I've dealt with many people in finance but Steve ranks at the top! Kyle in service was also great to work with. I made an appt to bring in the Mazda 2 for its 30K service and then had to go back to him later to cancel it now that I have a new car. Kyle was so gracious about going to the trouble I put him through - he's a very nice guy. So, I look forward to many years of working with Mazda of Elk Grove and all the great people they've got! Ordering parts and getting the correct parts can be very hard at times, but having Bill Thiessen and Kao Chao at the Mazda of Elk Grove parts department makes it very easy and simple. Bill is always 100% ac hard at times, but having Bill Thiessen and Kao Chao at the Mazda of Elk Grove parts department makes it very easy and simple. Bill is always 100% accurate with parts orders and at times will even deliver the parts himself. Kao is a great leader for that parts department and always takes good care of his customers. I recommend Bill and Kao to every shop/vender I talk to. The only thing I would suggest is to have your main counter guys work Monday thru Friday. Most shops order Mondays thru Fridays and its assurance knowing Bill and Kao are the two guys we can count on during the work week. Great job guys! Keep up the good work! More
