Service Center did a great job but why make an appointment? Yesterday was the 3rd time I have brought my Mazda in for service. Each time I have been very satisfied with the work that was performed. My issue t Yesterday was the 3rd time I have brought my Mazda in for service. Each time I have been very satisfied with the work that was performed. My issue though is common to all three service visits. I make an appointment for a specific time. I show up at least 15 minutes early for the appointment. I am checked in. It then takes an hour to an hour and a half before my vehicle is brought into the shop. Every time this has happened. I will bring my vehicle into your shop for service again, only if the appointment time I make can be honored. Is that possible? Please provide me feedback. Hulmedav@comcast.net More

Autoplay addition I wanted to upgrade my radio experience to autoplay. I was told it would take all day and was offered a loaner car. I did not take the offer of the loaner car, but much appreciated the option. To my surprise, the procedure did not take all day. When I picked up my vehicle, radio was not responsive. Billy came out immediately, took a look and pulled my car around back to service. 5 minutes later, I was driving away listening to the radio, navigation, etc. More
20,000 Mile Service with Airplay Install I made an appointment to get 20,000 mile service for my 2017 Mazda 3 and they also installed Airplay at a discounted price because the Mazda dealer is I made an appointment to get 20,000 mile service for my 2017 Mazda 3 and they also installed Airplay at a discounted price because the Mazda dealer is going through a needed renovation. I arrived on time at 7:40am. They checked my in very quickly and they knew I was going to wait so they said it may take awhile with the Airplay install and estimated around 11am finish time. They were done ahead of schedule and I got my car back around 9:45am. They gave me a tour of the waiting area which had free wifi. The wifi was very fast. While I waited they sent me a text saying I could text back with any questions I had and I had an option to view the repair order online. The waiting are was very nice but the vending machine didn't take any dollar bills only change but they had free snacks and free coffee and soda. I had to wait 2 hours but it seemed to go by much faster as it didn't seem like I was there for 2 hours. They had my car waiting for my right outside the service waiting room. I very happy with the work they did. They rotated the tires which makes driving more fun for a little while. The Apple CarPlay is a very nice addition because now I can be hands free. I have no complaints about the service provided by Mazda of Elk Grove. My only complaint which is not a big deal is that I asked them not to wash the car but they did it anyway. I washed my car the day before and I usually don't let anyone else wash it because they never dry it correctly. Would I recommend getting service at Mazda of Elk Grove, Yes. More

I could smell engine compartment smell in the passenger cabin but could not be specific about the source. After a thorough investigation no could be sure of the cause but the tech did find some oil on the engine manifold that might have been the source. He cleaned it up. The problem disappeared. I appreciate the thorough effort to correct a hard to find cause! More
