After I drove her car just once, I fell in love with it. She had to take the car to the service department for some minor issues and a recall. The service at Machens Mazda is superb to say the least. They treat you with respect and give the extra service that is so much appreciated. We decided to talk with the sales and were introduced to Robert Ridgeway. He was friendly, down to earth, and straightforward. Before we left there my daughter had a new 2014 Mazda6 and I was thinking of purchasing one of my own. I went back in the next day and was able to get a great trade-in for my car and purchased a new 2015 Mazda6 Touring model in the special blue. Robert was such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend that if you make a choice to buy a new car, test drive a Mazda. Then talk to Robert Ridgeway, he will treat you right and fairly. The entire Mazda staff is great. The finance acceptance process took longer than I would have liked, but they got me good APR and monthly payment right where I wanted it. There is an optional service contract that I unknowingly accepted ,probably due to my excitement, for $2500. It is a good value but just wasn't for me, even though I had already signed all the paperwork they were willing to work with me in removing the $2500 off of my loan. Overall Robert Ridgeway is more than great when it comes to car sales, I never once felt like he was trying to sell me a car, and Walter Moore is very good at getting you approved for a monthly rate you can afford. Machens has an extremely vast selection of new and certified used vehicles, and hopefully Robert Ridgeway stays with them because I would not be content having to buy a car from an up - tight douce bag car salesman, like I've encountered trying to buy vehicles at other locations. The only thing I can say negative is that they couldn't come down on the tag price for me, but I definitely recommend you to buy a car from Robert Ridgeway at Joe Machens Mazda. More

I was on a visit to my parents' home in Missouri when I saw the 2011 Chevy Equinox advertised on Craigslist in Columbia. It only had 21,600 miles on it and sounded great. I called Carrie at around 5:00 that evening and ended up driving 2 hours to Columbia the following day and had the car purchased by 2:00 the following afternoon. Carrie was professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to visit with. My parents made the ride over with me and felt comfortable as well. Everyone in the dealership was friendly and welcoming.
