I never once felt like she was being dishonest or trying to rip me off - I truly felt that she was working for ME to get ME the best deal. I made an inquiry and got an immediate response from Sybil and met shortly thereafter with Keith. I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to close the deal so quickly without stress or hassle. Joe Machens FIAT with trade-in Contact #1) CARRIE PRICE (sales associate) Carrie was great - I talked to her over the phone before driving up 3 hours to dealers Contact #1) CARRIE PRICE (sales associate) Carrie was great - I talked to her over the phone before driving up 3 hours to dealership. I gave her my credit app information to get it started. Contact #2) LOUANN MONTAGUE (sales associate) LouAnn was super - when I arrived, Carrie was tied up with 2 customers, so I was handed-off to LouAnn. LouAnn has a real enthusiasm for FIATs and showed me several of them, and was very knowledgeable about them. She made the whole day a more enjoyable experience. Contact #3) AL MORGAN (sales management) Al Morgan had me a little confused on the dollar figures, as far as my trade-in's value, and what amount I'd actually be paying for the car. This was a little stressful, but finally we came to an agreement. I think it would be better to tell a customer up-front what their trade is worth, before even getting into the cost of the new car. Also I was interested in a used car or two new cars (hadn't decided yet) and when LouAnn asked about the used car at his counter (not sure if it was him or someone else) the guy replied "new is always better" and that was that. I feel like my request to be given figures for both the used car, and the new ones, was not honored. I would have liked to been shown "if you trade-in for the used car, here is the cost" and "if you trade-in for the new car, here is the cost." But the used car was pretty much swept under the carpet by the Sales Mgmt staff. Contact #4) STEVE DAVIDSON (business manager / finance dept) Steve Davidson was super. He handled the financing. Up to this point, I had been told (by Al) that I was "approved" and we just didn't know the exact terms yet, like interest rate or exact payment. But when I got to Steve at almost 5 pm, he was waiting for approval. So I was actually NOT yet approved, yet earlier in the day there were handshakes like we'd made a deal, and my contents of the trade-in car were already being moved to the new car I was buying. And then to hear we didn't even have credit approval yet, made me sick. He asked for my payoff, and I told him I had provided the figure (to the exact penny) that morning over the phone. Somehow this information did not reach him. And when he told me he was waiting for approval, I said that I had provided my credit app info over the phone that morning (about 9:30) and also signed a credit app when I arrived in person (about 1:30). He said that no one had even given him this information! So here it was 5:00 and it had not done me any good to provide all this info in the morning. This was very frustrating (but was not HIS fault). He handled it well, and called a lender to hurry up and get approval so I wouldn't have to drive back home empty-handed and have to return again (6 hour round-trip). He also negotiated a LOWER INTEREST RATE with the lender over the phone, saving me about 7% which is HUGE. I really appreciate his help. Overall, Carrie was wonderful on the phone and didn't mind my repeated phone calls to her that morning as I thought of questions while I was driving up. I can't say enough good things about LouAnn - I would definitely seek her out as a salesperson for future purchases, and would recommend her to anyone going car-shopping. I wasn't crazy about the wheeling/dealing way that figures were handled by Al Morgan, as it made it confusing to see "what am I really getting for my trade? what am I really paying for the new car?" Not sure who's fault it was, but I didn't like the fact that my credit app and payoff info (which I provided at 9:30 in the morning, and filled out in person around 1:00) didn't ever make it to the finance man (Steve Davidson) till I sat down with him at almost 5:00 pm. But I do appreciate how he made a phone call to get approval, and lowered my interest rate. He had the extended warranty & GAP coverage rolled in, without asking me, and I know he was trying to do me a favor. I am keeping the GAP but have emailed him this morning to remove the extended warrant so it will drop about $3000 off my financed amount. I am just fine with the 4 year/50,000 mile warranty. I would definitely car-shop here again, even though it's a 6-hour round-trip for me. But next time I might arrange my own financing first (thru my credit union) or at the very least, make the sales mgr tell me what my trade is worth first, before choosing a car to buy and messing with those figures. More

My husband had looked up similar deals for mazdas in KC Missouri and the team there at Joe Machens did everything they could to give us a very good price for the brand new mazda we bought. I really enjoyed the customer service and we love the new vehicle. More

They find out exactly what you want and then show you options based off that. Carrie Price was the main one I dealt with and she was fantastic!!! I had been to a few dealerships first one and this one beats all the others in every category!!! Not only did they have great prices, but they also gave me way more for my trade than I ever expected! Carrie maintained contact and determination to find me a car for my needs. When I found a car I enjoyed she helped make sure it was a great fit, have recommended her and will continue to. Brian I worked with briefly but he listened well and was not pushy what so ever great guy. John is excellent and super friendly. Most unpushy business manager I have ever delt with. Offered me all the options didnt force them down my throat. Got my payments much lower then I expected. Next car purchase will definitely go through this group if possible.
