I located Mayes Automotive while searching the Internet for a Corvette, I wanted to deal with a dealership outside of the KC metro area because I was hoping to avoid the sales games & gimmicks. The haggling back & forth between us, the sales person & manager, pushing the add ons & then the surprise additional fees upon closing. I had found a '04 convertible with low miles (I'm the researcher) and my husband called for the specifications (he's the technical/mechanical expert.) He contacted David Brown, discussed the details & specs the Corvette had and what David wasn't familiar with on the car, he promptly checked on and got back to us. He wanted to be sure everything he relayed to us was accurate. He explained that if we were interested in the car, that we could submit a credit app online. Once our app was approved, the process would prioritize us, in case someone else was interested in the car. I completed the credit app and David called to inform me that the app was received & approved. He answered questions & advised me up front of the 99.00 administrative fee & that the finance manager would call to provide further details. Tripp Cook, the finance manager called later and explained everything in a friendly & professional manner. He was still working 1 1/2 hrs after closing on a Friday night. We drove down on Saturday, met with David Brown, he provided my husband with the build/spec sheet and showed us the car. My husband had a big grin, I knew what that meant. From that point on the purchase process was timely & efficient with David and Tripp. It was the smoothest, no hassle car purchase we've ever made....we loved the small town friendly treatment. Definitely worth the drive and we have already recommended Mayse Automotive to friends. Thanks guys for the pleasant experience! More

EXCELLENT!!!! Explains the staff at Mayse. My wife and I started to browse around for cars about a month ago, nothing serious but just getting ideas for a car for her since hers was getting up there i and I started to browse around for cars about a month ago, nothing serious but just getting ideas for a car for her since hers was getting up there in mileage. We found a Impala at another dealear and she just loved it since we had such a good experience with her Impala 10 years ago. So I researched a little more on KBB and found that there were more Impalas in the area under KBB value, 66 to be exact. I clicked on 1 of them and found out that a majority were at Mayse. Low miles and excellent condition. So I made contact and got ahold of John Kieny. Never pushy just listened and answered questions. We agreed to meet up on the following weekend. Me and my wife were a bit on the nervous side, putting up our wall, since our car buying experience the last 3 times was very unpleasent. We got there early on a Saturday and were approached by a gentleman and we thought "here we go again". He introduced himself and asked the usual dealer questions. Once I had brought up John Kieny he didn't get upset, just went and found him for us. John approached hand out and professional. He began to guide us to cars with all the things we had talked about on the phone almost a week prior, "WOW"!! And again never pushy, just listened and helped find what we were looking for. Once the wife had 1 picked we started the next dreaded part of the dealership experience. It was just as pleasent. We were led to the office of Jeff Silvey. Again very pleasent and easy to talk to. Explained everything to us, which was the first, and did not proceed until every questioned aswered. Overall our experience was above excellent, would give 6 stars if we could. Its nice to know customer satisfaction is not a completly dead practice. Will buy all future vehicles through this excellent dealership again. Will highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. More

After internet searching the entire four states area for a quality used car that was priced within our budget, we made the drive to Aurora to visit Mayse. I explained what we were looking for and what our strict price range was. John was very knowledgeable about his inventory and their prices. He showed us 5 cars that met our criteria without once trying to "sell" us ANY of them. Ultimately, We picked car #2. At no time did we ever feel like we were pressured or rushed. That is a lesson that other salesmen should learn. John Kieny should be commended for outstanding customer service and I will tell everyone that I know about his low pressure approach to helping us make such a big financial commitment. After deciding to purchase the vehicle, Jeff Silvey took over on the warranty and financial paperwork. This is, hands down, my most dreaded part of buying a vehicle. Jeff was very "real", unlike any other financial officer that I've ever encountered. He answered every question that we had, without ever making us feel like he didn't have time for us. Jeff figured and refigured different options that the lenders presented in order to make sure that we were getting the best option for us. We were so comfortable and we even laughed....yes, laughed - a lot! At the end of the day, we're still smiling. Excellent work Jeff! My wife and I were both very impressed with John Kieny and Jeff Silvey and would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a new/different vehicle. I had also heard from Ehren Clark regarding an inquiry I had made. He met with us right after we got there and he had found just what we had been wanting. We took our truck for a ride and knew it was for us and we told Ehren what we had decided. He helped us to get our car traded and told us all about the truck. He is the most helpful and friendly and courteous salesman we have ever dealt with. When Ehren finished what he could do for us he took us to Jeff Silvey and he got us the financing we needed at the price range we could afford. These two men really worked hard getting us the right truck for the right price and we have told everyone about them. We will definitely go back to Mayse if we ever purchase another vehicle. More
