Yesterday on October 25, 2013 we drove 2 1/2 hrs to see Kelby Parks at Mayse. He was a super guy to work with. He got us out with our new GMC Terrain in 2 hrs. My wife and I would have bought the 2006 PontiacTorrent if only they would have dropped the listed price. Salesman said "No deal" and told us that's the price and they are only making 450 dollars on the c if only they would have dropped the listed price. Salesman said "No deal" and told us that's the price and they are only making 450 dollars on the car at that price. The ad listed for the Torrent said $9990 or "make an offer" We did and no way they said, It was ad priced and that was final. In other words "TAKE IT OR WALK" We walked and they lost a sale. We even had the bank credit check done and would have made the deal. We received no call as asked them to do the next day. We found a GREAT DEAL at Bill Roberts Chevrolet in BOLIVAR,MO the next day! A car equal to the same we looked at with 36 thousand less miles and $1,000 cheaper. They were willing to deal. Mays did call 2 days later with a price of about 1 thousand less. WHY WAS THE PRICE ABOUT $1000 less ~ It was a full wasted trip to Mays and they lied to us about the price and they could NOT lower it because they were making NO $$$$ ~ Shame on you Mays for misleading the public into advertising a car with a price and make an offer and not living up to your ad. I have all the information on paper to back up my written statement, .We would NOT recommend this Dealership when buying a used car. More
