Called up service dept to see if dead battery was under warranty. They said yes and i brought it in and they had my battery tested and replaced in about 1 hour. Price at dealership was $4k higher than what was online, so they are using bait and switch tactics. The salesperson used magical math to make me believe I was getting the price I wanted even though all they so they are using bait and switch tactics. The salesperson used magical math to make me believe I was getting the price I wanted even though all they did was not add on fees after the offer was accepted, which makes the price of the car almost $7k higher than the online price. Since it was closing time, the finance guy rushed us through the paperwork which was my fault for not going line by line to realize we were not getting the price that the salesperson stated. When we went back 2 days later they told me they explained it very clearly to me and that I just didn’t understand even though I made it very clear what the price needed to be before TT&L and any extra warranty which the salesperson used deceptive tactics to trick me into believing I got the price I asked for. We are on a limited budget for my daughter first car and they took advantage of our trust. I will never do business with Maxwell or Ford again. They have made no attempt to rectify the problem. More
