I have never received the level of customer service that I received from Maxwell ford. On vacation, and over 1000 miles from home, my F150 started exhibiting a loss of power steering. Without an appointment, no fewer than 4 associates came up to me when I got out of my vehicle to say they would be right with me and within 5 minutes, John Evans took my information and description of the problem. Within 10 minutes of my arrival the vehicle was whisked off to the shop for diagnosis. The facilities were great with fresh ground espresso and an associate even came to ask us if we wanted to watch TV. John Evans, the service advisor went out of his way to limit the stress of being stranded. His prompt and respectful communication, arrangement of shuttle & drop off service and caring for my wife & my needs went way above the levels that I have ever received from a dealer before. The drop off driver, Abdul was polite and even helped remove our remaining luggage into our VRBO on the second floor of where we were staying. Kudos to all the team members at Maxwell. The absolute worst car buying experience I have had, and the worst sales experience I have witnessed. Being in sales myself, as well as a sales manager, I know the exact course of action I would have taken the worst sales experience I have witnessed. Being in sales myself, as well as a sales manager, I know the exact course of action I would have taken or would have been taken on me if I was this incompetent and slimy. False promises, no communication, straight up lied to by Salesman Eric Belmont, finance Diego, and used sales manager Ryan Scott. End of the day they all got paid, I got stuck with a bill, they won’t answer or explain, and not once has responsibility been taken. But I suppose that’s the way Maxwell does handles business. The term “used car salesman” is a montra that they live and breathe by. I would highly recommend driving 20 minutes south and going to Lief Johnson Ford or MAC Haik, prices may be a bit higher but I promise you the sales staff, finance and managers will at least handle situations with integrity, which is something I can without a doubt and with proof through text and email, say that Maxwell Ford does not. If they stand by the actions of these employees who “assisted” me, who was a very easy lay down sale, I’d hate to see how they take advantage of others. Do yourself a favor, there are 3-5 other ford dealers in the area, try them out and if you can’t find what your looking for there, switch manufacturers. This is by far the worst experience I have had purchasing any product or dealing with any business. More
