I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received at Maxie Price Chevrolet in Loganville, GA, during my recent attempt to purchase a 2018 Corvette GrandSport. My encounter with the service I received at Maxie Price Chevrolet in Loganville, GA, during my recent attempt to purchase a 2018 Corvette GrandSport. My encounter with the manager, Chris, was marked by unprofessional behavior and questionable business practices. Upon expressing interest in the Corvette, I was taken aback when Chris insisted on an offer before permitting a test drive, a demand that deviates significantly from industry norms and customer service standards. What struck me as particularly audacious was Chris' dismissive attitude, asserting that my business wouldn't be missed if I didn't meet his subjective criteria for a "right offer." Adding to the frustration was Chris' attempt to rationalize the exorbitant fees included in the quote. The $1000 charge for a feature named "Maxie Shield" and $700 in administrative fees seemed excessive, casting doubt on the dealership's transparency. Furthermore, during our discussion, Chris attempted to justify the price by referencing several recent drops over the last 60 days. Instead of acknowledging the concerns raised, Chris audaciously argued that these price reductions were somehow integral to the discount I was seeking. Such reasoning is not only illogical but adds an extra layer of deception to the overall experience. In light of these issues, I made the decision to take my business elsewhere, ultimately purchasing a BMW M Series from a dealership that valued transparency and customer satisfaction. I intend to share my negative experience on the dealership's site and platforms like CarGurus to ensure that other consumers are informed about the unprofessionalism and deceptive practices at Maxie Price Chevrolet. The treatment I received, coupled with the questionable pricing tactics, raises serious concerns about the dealership's commitment to customer service and integrity. In conclusion, I strongly discourage potential buyers from considering Maxie Price Chevrolet for their automotive needs. The unprofessional conduct of Chris and the deceptive pricing practices at the dealership warrant serious reconsideration for anyone seeking a reputable and customer-centric dealership. More

DW was a lite hearted salesman but he needs to make sure he lets the customers drive the vehicle that they’re interested in. I only got to look at the 2015 truck. Like the way you’re in and out. Part 2 On that day I forgot to ask them to cancel my gap insurance and extended warranty for the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado so I could get my refund but since I had to go back to drop off the 2021 Nissan Arma insurance and extended warranty for the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado so I could get my refund but since I had to go back to drop off the 2021 Nissan Armada on 8/25/2023 for detailing I decided to do it on that Friday 8/25/2023. I went back on Friday 8/25/2023 and asked to cancel my gap and extended warranty for the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado so I could get my refund. Then again, they sent me with someone else in finance who told me that "they had used my refund to cover for the down payment on the 2021 Nissan Armada." I told him that I had never authorized neither agreed to any of that and that was very dishonest. He said "it wasn’t dishonest, it was just that they didn’t tell me." His comment was so out of place and I wonder if everyone that works there is the same because It’s not only not being dishonest but committing fraud. He said "this is what they usually do to all trade ins who buy there and go back to trade in." This is not acceptable at all. If the customer is ok with doing that then it should be fine but that was never mentioned to me. My husband and I clearly told Shawn, Jose and Juan that we weren’t putting anything for down payment ($0 down payment). We never gave anyone permission to use my refund as a down payment nor was I aware of what they were doing behind my back. I feel that Juan, Jose and Shawn did all of this maliciously and it was wrong. This is not acceptable and they are committing fraud and think they will not get caught and get away with it. Their behavior lacks professionalism, ethics and honesty. Not only they didn’t give me what was promised for the trade-in but they took my refund from the gap and extended warranty and also charged me $1967.66 that they claim in the paperwork they will pay Ally for prior credit. That doesn’t make any sense. I had Maxie Price Chevrolet as a reputable dealer but after all the discrepancies and lack of transparency in this contract I’m starting to think the opposite. Juan told my husband and I that he would talk to Shawn about the situation and see what they could do about the mess they created but we never got any response. Since nothing was getting done and we were getting ignored, I decided to email Helen Couch about the what had happened On Sun. Aug. 27, 2023. I never got a courtesy phone call from Helen instead I got a call from Jose on Mon. Aug. 28, 2023. Jose was very unprofessional, rude, unethical and tried lie in my face saying that they had given me the $50,200 for the trade-in. I have the paperwork where they used my refund to cover for a down payment that was never mentioned to us neither had we agreed to such. They noted it as cash deposit (the one that Shawn said it was a discount) and they only gave us $46,200 for the trade in. Instead of resolving the issue Jose screamed at me on the phone and at the end told me to take the 2021 Nissan Armada back to them and deal with the people in service to get the Chevrolet Silverado fixed and hang up. I really wanted to think this was a miscommunication between Juan, Jose and Shawn but after Jose’s phone call, it makes me think it was done intentionally and that is very serious. The dealer currently has the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado listed on their website for $55,889. This was a horrible experience that I felt I needed to share so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Please be careful and May God Bless all of you and keep all of you away from dishonest people. More
