Care of my vehicle and attitude of technicians is admirable. My Jeep was at Max Motors three times in a 7 day period, once for servicing, once for Oil Gauge sensor replacement and once with a dead battery. All three times I was treated with the utmost respect. I was not charged for recharging the dead battery and, since they had recently serviced the engine, I was not charged any labor for replacing the Oil Gauge sensor, just for the part. She was super friendly, so I figured it might b After expressing interest in an SUV from Max Ford of Harrisonville online, I received a call from Ida. She was super friendly, so I figured it might be worth just stopping in for a minute. Plus, Harrisonville was on the way to the other dealership I was planning on going to first. Ultimately, I'm glad I made the decision to go to Max Ford first. Nick was the sales person working with us. I test drove a 2018 Ford EcoSport SES. I was amazed at how knowledgable Nick was about this vehicle [and every other one I had asked him about]. It's clear he knows the products he's selling very well. After test driving, I was interested in purchasing it, but knew it had some extras that I liked but didn't necessarily need, and knew the price would reflect those extras. I figured I'd go look at some comparable vehicles I had found online with a lower trim style and lower cost. Nick was able to make a deal that got me the nicer model for the same price I would've paid for less features and more miles. After making the deal with Nick, we met with Daryl to do all of the paperwork. I loved his diagrams to explain the warranties, which really helped explain it all. He was super friendly and I didn't feel pressured to make any decisions or extra purchases I didn't want to make. The only thing that left me less than impressed from this experience was the lack of detailing. While still at the dealership, I noticed some plastic wrap still on several spots. They removed them no problem, but I was still kind of surprised they hadn't been seen while detailing it. As we were driving away, we noticed the windshield hadn't been cleaned at all. It was pretty dirty on the inside and out. The next day, while I was taking a closer look in the morning sun, I noticed chalk marker/paint on 4 different spots, and more plastic wrap in 3 more spots. I also found a scraper tool used for taking off the window sticker in the back seat. My fiance and I just assumed all this was likely missed because it wasn't pre-owned, so the detailers probably just overlooked these things. Either way, we had to go back to the dealership the next day anyway to take up some paperwork I had forgotten at home, and Nick fixed all of these things (more kudos to him)! Even with the missed things in detailing, I'd still buy a car from Max Ford of Harrisonville again and recommend them to others. They were friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating.
