For the past year, whenever the OT got to be too much or life got overwhelming, I'd look at my circled date for my dream car, my new Jeep! June 18 2020 Well...as we all know, life happens, things change, dreams don't always happen the way you plan them. My jeep would have to wait a few years...I would have to get a truck, as my truck is not running and probably never will again...so I went in yesterday June 13 (after talking to Anthony and letting him know my plan)...did the paperwork intenting on leaving with a bright shiny Ranger 4x4, you know that pretty brown color..yeah that one. But..as I said, things don't always go as planned! Those 3...Frank, Guy, and Anthony!!! Those 3...worked so hard, so diligently...they know my dream, they know me, and they care about what I want...and most of all they really honestly care about making my dream come true!!! They were gonna sell a vehicle either way...but they went so far above and beyond anything I've ever seen out of a car dealer...these guys care!! This is my third vehicle...I'm a lifetimer! If you need a vehicle...call these guys...tell them the hippie sent you...let them make your dream come true as well!!! More
I live 2 hours away from Max Motors in Nevada. Inquired about 3 different vehicles on line. I was matched up with a 2004 Ford Escape. I had some concerns about the vehicle before seeing it and the salesman about 3 different vehicles on line. I was matched up with a 2004 Ford Escape. I had some concerns about the vehicle before seeing it and the salesman gave me an answer. I went to sign the papers and trade my vehicle in. I had explained to the salesman I needed a dependable vehicle for traveling. I was told this vehicle was in very good condition even though it had high miles. As soon as I got it home, I found out the CD player did not work and I had to pay out $265. for a new stereo. One of the concerns I had before buying it was the material on the door panels. The salesman assured me they were okay. I had to glue down the material on both panels because it was falling off. A week after getting it home, I started having problems with the engine. Soon after that it died while in traffic. It was taken to a repair shop where I had to put out over $400. in repairs. I contacted the salesman about my concerns and was told he would pass it on to his manager. Next I noticed the vehicle was doing very poorly on rough roads and found out that the vehicle's suspension was shot. It needed front struts at $87. each and rear shocks at $45 each plus labor. On top of this I found out the entire under carriage of the vehicle is severely rusted. Rusted to a point where large flakes of metal were falling off the frame. I was told by the salesman before I purchased the vehicle that they do a complete inspection of the vehicle. None of these obvious problems were disclosed. After numerous emails, the General Manager offered to send me a check for $150. All of my problems occurred in under 60 days of taking delivery. More
