We were less than pleased with the level of customer service we received. The interaction started out great. We had a few questions and had to make a couple of different calls to get started. My husband called first to let the dealership know that we thought this would be a warranty claim. We were told it was not. He then said we had an extended warranty and would continue with the service - which was to replace a starter. After having the vehicle for two days we were told the repairs were complete and we could pick it up. I showed up that night to pick up the vehicle and they couldn't get it to start. On their own they went to jump start it with a jump pack and couldn't get it to run. We were told they would have to keep it overnight, as all techs had left for the day, and they would review it the next day. When we didn't have a call back the next day I called for an update and was told they found the battery had coincidentally gone bad and would need replaced. I requested they do so. I was later called and said I could pick it up that night. When we showed up to pick up the vehicle we were told of the charges. I asked about the extended warranty covering all or part of it and was told it didn't have one. I produced the warranty paperwork and said tha tmy husband told of the warranty only to be argued with and told that he did not make them aware of it when he set up service. The warranty company was contacted and a claim was in fact able to be handled. We took the Jeep home that night. As the weather was nice we did not u se the heat/AC. Later that night with the weather cooler I went to turn on the heat and the control module had no power. The next morning I called in to discuss that and was told to bring the Jeep back in for evaluation. We got a call the next day to pick up the vehicle as they "fixed the problem." We were not able to pick it up that day, it was a Friday, so we went to pick it up Saturday morning. The tech couldn't get it started on Saturday morning and said they were "at a loss" and would have to wait until Monday for the more experienced staff to look at it. At this point I had been without a car for a week. I asked if there were any loaner cars available and was immediately told no. I leave the car there and wait. Monday late afternoon I still had no update from the shop so I called to get one and was told the 2nd battery also coincidentally went bad and would need replaced. I asked them to do so and thye did. The next day I was called to pick up the vehicle. I asked about "Max Transit" for deliver as now we've been to the shop 3 times, left with the vehicle once and were still waiting on repairs. I was told they can't do that. I advised it's advertised on their website and hold music and was told - "oh, well we don't have enough driver's so we can't help you." We absolutely loved Max Motors in Butler where we purchased the Jeep but as this Max was closer to home chose to use it for service. We will not be doing so in the future. More
