Melissa, we can see that you are upset, and apologize if you feel as though you had a bad experience. When you first came in, you asked us to figure out what was wrong with your 2011 Altima, and our technicians took the time to determine that you needed a new mass air-flow sensor, and a reprogram. At that time, we also recommended a fuel-induction service. We presented pricing, and you agreed to, signed, and authorized the repairs. It wasn't until you checked with family out of state, and they obtained a quote for the mass air-flow sensor only, which was lower than our costs, that you became upset. When you spoke with our Service Management, they explained that this quote did not include the time it took to figure out your issue, nor did it take into consideration the recommended work you agreed to. We even went so far as to call a local competing dealer, (not another Maus store), for a quote for exactly the work we performed, and their estimate of repair came back several hundred dollars higher than our costs! We will have a manager reach out to you, and see if there is anything else we can do, but if you have any remaining questions, please contact me directly, and I will be happy to assist you in any way I can. First of all i questioned the price from the start. I know a mass air flow censor is less than 100 if i bought it myself so we know dealerships get better pricing than consumers do. Then when i said i wpuld take it elsewhere to be fuxed i was told a lie, that only nissan could make the repair. I xalled my dad who us a mecganic and he said tye price sounded high to him but at 430 in the afternoon it would be hard to call to check. He offered to let me put tge repair on his credit xard because he wanted me to be safe and my for my car to not be damaged further. That evening my mechanic called me back and said he absolutly could repair my censor and that maus had lied to me. Furthering my frustration My father called another Nissan dealer in Massachusetts who gave Is hymn a price for the exact same repair of $490 not $780. Now you would think that a dealership in Massachusetts that has much higher wages to pay would be more expensive but no they were $300 cheaper and they would have included an air filter which your service did not. So again I was a little shocked that the price difference was such a great 1. Then when I came in to speak to somebody about the service that I had received And the price that I had paid I was only greeted with confrontation and accusations. I didn't appreciate that at all especially after sitting there for 6 hours. I was told that it was a 2 and a 1/2 hour job that was a lie you started my car at 4:30 and I left the dealership at 6:15 that was the job complete but yet you charged me for 2 hours and a 1/2 of labour. Again something else I was a little upset about. But now you want to tell me that you contacted another dealership and got a price for the job several $100 higher that is also a lie. They came out with a written on a piece of paper and it was $757 was the Colt they showed me your cold was $780 The only difference is that Lance was nice enough to give me a $60 discount for discount On the total amount of my bill. So again I really appreciate you reaching out and lying more I'm not satisfied and I will continue to write reviews and I'll continue to tell people not to come there and I will never come there and it's a shame because in September I was going to come there and buy a brand new car not now thank you again for nothing
