They were efficient. Took care of me and the car I brought in for service in timely manner. Car was brought up front clean on outside. Clean but horrible service at the service department. We were lied to and over charged more then once throughout our service. When we questioned our bill we were lied to again and more excuses. We also sat down and did the math and showed rep that the numbers weren’t adding up. The manager refunded some money but still was not correct. The service rep said she called in for our tire claim and the claim was rejected. We then called and they weren’t even open on Saturdays. We brought that to her attention and again more excuses. We will never bring our cars back to Maus. I rather pay somewhere else for an oil change then to be lied to and over charged, and taken advantage of. More
The people are very nice. But I cannot say the same thing about service. I brought my car in because I was having trouble starting the car. I originally went through roadside assistance, they told me he was about service. I brought my car in because I was having trouble starting the car. I originally went through roadside assistance, they told me he was not the battery and if it happened again don't call them to have the battery charged. They said the battery was fine. They did manage to get the car started. I then went about my business made a stop, and when I came out the car would not start again. I finally got it restarted, brought it in to the dealership in New Port Richey. I was assigned to John because Wentz who I generally work with was not there. I was told I needed a new battery after roadside assistance told me the battery was fine. They gave me the price for it which was outrageous. I became very agitated spoke to the service manager who in order to help me did not charge for the labor only the battery I need a car so I agreed to it. I left the dealership got back to St Pete stopped at Walmart came out of Walmart long behold the car did not start again after having a new battery installed. The service department was closed at that time I left a message for call because I had spoken to him earlier while I was waiting to have the work done. Brought the car in about noon again spoke to John they found it was indeed another problem. I told John maybe I really didn't need a battery he said oh yes you did he showed you. The car needed a replacement part, which fortunately was covered under the warranty. I cannot say that my dealings with Maus Nissan has been a pleasant one More
