Paul, I’ve mentioned this incident every time I have been in Contact with Maus since this experience and all I am told is that they will document it and they are sorry about the experience. No one from Maus has reached out to me in regards to this to try to make it right. As I do appreciate an apology I don’t feel as if that makes up for the fact that 1. I requested this work not to be done on my vehicle before they started working on it 2. I was blatantly lied to by the person you have in charge of your service department and told I have absolutely no choice but to do these services per my owners manual and 3. There has been no attempt on behalf of Maus to justify or make up for this interaction. I even spoke to Maus in crystal river about this to find out if these services were required and explained why I was inquiring and they were in disbelief. Honestly, I’ve saved all the paperwork provided from him in regards to this as I am still considering legal actions. The paperwork that states the time that they started working on my car (which apparently they couldn’t find the start time for the air filter just the battery and that was hours after I called) and also where he highlighted sections out of my owners manual basically intimidating me into paying for things I did not want done and was NOT required.
