I no longer needed two cars since my wife passed away and I wanted to trade in my 2013 Mercedes E350 Sport Sedan and my 2010 Acura MDX and get a new mid-size SUV. I looked at several brands including Mercedes and BMW but decided that a new MDX with the Tech Package and SH-AWD was the best choice for me considering size, ride, safety equipment, fit/finish, price and the SH-AWD drive system. I had some service done at Ferman Acura on my 2010 MDX so I wanted to check out a new MDX there. I also had met with Austin Barrett, a Senior Sales representative two year ago when I looked at the RDX. I lost interest in the RDX when I realized it didn’t have the SH-AWD system. My new search for a new MDX led me to Ferman Acura’s Sales Manager Andres Acevedo and back again to Austin. Both of these gentlemen went out of their way to make me feel comfortable with all phases of this transaction. They knew that I was still grieving over my wife and was not in any mood for any typical car sales pressure. There was absolutely none of that. I believe that the trade values on both of my cars was fair and our negotiations were fair to both of us. Mr. Acevedo was unlike any dealership sales manager I have ever dealt with. I have purchased well over a dozen new cars and the ‘sales manager’ is someone you never see. The sales representative runs back and forth hailing the negotiations in ‘secret.’ This was not the case at this dealership. Mr. Acevedo was part of the process with both Austin and myself … even texted directly to me several times. Oh …..as for the car. It’s my 3rd MDX and it’s everything I expected. I certainly would recommend both Austin Barrett and Andres Acevedo to anyone looking for a new car. More

Bad News, Great Service! I wouldn't be a customer of Ferman Mazda, Chrysler and Acura for more than 20 years, if I didn't come to expect authentic people and great service. My I wouldn't be a customer of Ferman Mazda, Chrysler and Acura for more than 20 years, if I didn't come to expect authentic people and great service. My recent reason to bring my car in for service was a sudden loss of power steering on my 2006 Acura TSX. The car is aging, but it is the best car I've ever owned in terms of driving satisfaction, reliability, and value, and I want to drive it forever. I called my regular Service Advisor, Bryan, and he suggested I fill the power steering reservoir with fluid, monitor the way it steers and bring it in if necessary. Late Friday afternoon, that's what I did. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, power steering was gone again and the reservoir empty. By then it was too late to reach Bryan. I couldn't drive the car, but I needed to travel the next day. I went online at 7:30am to discover there is a service chat line. Who knew? I reported my problem and asked if I could bring in the car for repair but more importantly, would they have a loaner available for me? After a brief exchange on the chat line, another Service Advisor, Mike, was calling me on the phone to assure me that I could bring in the car and he would have a loaner vehicle for me. By 9:00am my car was in good hands and I was driving out with a new TLX loaner. On Monday, the news was bad. The rack and pinion assembly was leaking like a sieve and there were indications of minor leaks from the hose and the pump. The cost of repair was astronomical. Mike said that they would look for after-market equipment to lower costs, but for the rack and pinion assembly, there are no after-market replacements. However, the service department and my two advisors Bryan and Mike, were able to limit replacement to the rack and pinion assembly for now, with replacement of pump and fluid line later and they were able to apply some discount coupons to save me $200 overall. The cost was still over 2 grand, but I felt everyone in the service department was trying their best to limit my financial exposure. I will have to monitor the fluid level every couple of weeks, and eventually replace the other leaking components, but it was the efforts made and the treatment I received that make me a life-long Ferman man. More
