Please do your research when purchasing any vehicles from this dealership. Within 2 weeks I found out the car I purchased had been wrecked twice. When I originally notified the sales person, she apologized and told me I purchased the car as is, so I pretty much had to deal with the problem I took it into the Ford dealership for.... car makes a fluttering noise when accelerating at speeds 45+. Once I got my attorney involved, Matthews Motors stated they would pay to have to car repaired based on an estimate I received from an auto body repair shop. However, when they found out there was structural damage, and it would cost a few thousand dollars, to repair, they indicated they will replace the car with one comparable to what I already have. I was told there was a car on the lot exactly like the one I have, so I drove 3.5 hours to Clayton to trade out the car; only to find out they were not willing to swap the cars because the one on the lot was a newer model. After looking on the lot for approx an hour and not finding a vehicle comparable to the one I had, the GM finally came out and talked to me. He stated he would find another car just like the one I have or repair the one I'm in, and money is not a problem. He even went as far to say he's paid as much as $6k in the past to repair a vehicle; but his goal was to get me a clone of the vehicle I already have (both my mother and daughter were present to hear this conversation). After waiting approx a week, they delivered the same make and model, but the body of this vehicle had dents and scratches and looked worse than the one I have, so I told them I would keep the one I originally purchased. After my mother reminded me of our conversation with the GM stating money is not a problem, I called and left a.message asking him to return my call. It's been over a month, and I still have not heard back from him. The GM should be a business man of his word and pay to get the vehicle repaired since he was not able to deliver a vehicle comparable to the one I currently have. This would definitely be the reasonable and prudent thing to do since he was not able to deliver on his promise. BUYER BEWARE!
