The nice woman who made the appointment supposed wrote down I worked grave yard meaning i sleep during the day and set an appointment for Monday morning. I worked out a deal to leave work early and try to reschedule sat morning after work just in case I have to hit the dealeship Monday. I was asked by Andrew if I could come in Thursday afternoon. I asked to see three vehicles so i could compare, was told all three would be there when i got there Saturday (all were in the 15k range). I got to the dealer ship and was told the two other cars werent there because of problems. But ironically the most expensive car of my pick was there. While i admire the fact that they don't want to sell cars that have problem, I wasn't informed about this until 9am that day. Otherwise I would have asked about one other pick to compare the two before i sunk into a 15k investment. (Never set your heart on just one) We go for a test drive, and look the car over, I pointed out some scratches on the drivers side door and bumper area that looked pretty deep. He mentioned it was just pollen and tried to rub it off over the area I had already wiped off. It didn't go away. He said he would have it fixed. (Later buffed, Still has scratches) he tried telling me to just buy a paint pen. That was a solid no because it doesn't look right dried (something I have already done to my old car) I told him so and he asked if I got the right color for the last car. Which was a bit insulting as I know a little bit about color matching but water off a ducks back. Another thing was the tire sensor that I had talked to someome on the phone about and was promised it would be fixed before I took it. While we were in the office he casually mentioned that it just needed air (sweet!) I asked him the possibility of putting a single part in my other car and that I would be willing to pay full price of the new car with no haggling if they could. He said he would talk to his service manager about it. Long story short he never gave me an answer. Luckily the brother who got the old car was able to fix it. But im still paying full price, no haggling... When it came to financing my mom helped cosign the vehicle with the stipulation she was only cosigner not the main owner of the car. That didn't happen and it wasn't told to her until Carlos who is in financing (who was super nice!!) Explained it to her. At that point we were already that far in so we just accepted it. However one plus to Andrew, he did tell us the benefits of refinancing in 6 months with my bank which was nice seeming that we were given a really high APR and payment plan despite being told we had good credit and 2k down. Finally my parents and I started to leave and I got into my car and turned on the engine and there was that tire sensor shining bright and proud. This really bothered me because i was assured it was taken care of and it wasnt. Andrew who went to the gas station to get me some gas psychically drove the car and should have seen it but didnt say a word. I walked back into the building asking to speak to Andrew who seemed to be frustrated I was bringing up the light again. I tried telling him that it was a sensor issue (I had the same issue with my old car which is why i knew) but he and the mechanic insisted it was just needing air. He took me around back with the car and had the mechanic check it again in front of me. He checked all tires and casually mentioned that one side was over filled but they were alright but the light was still on. Finally Andrew and I sat in it for a few minutes while he went through all the features and couldn't figure it out. I was trying to let him know the issue again but that was ignored and I was told to come in Monday morning if it was still an issue (points back to the sleeping during the day bit) I brought the issue up to my dad who has been working with the owner for years buying cars and happened to be friends with him. He talked to the owner who asked I come in today and talk to someone so the problem would be fixed. I am really thankful for such a fantastic guy helping us out, im.just a bit bothered by the salesman, how i was limited to one of my picks and going to be really tired when I go to work at 8pm.... 4/5 stars for the company due to the fantastic finance team/car/salesman working with my crazy family. -1 for the salemans limited information/saying the issues was fixed when it wasnt (if he was upfront about it when he returned, it wouldnt be an issue) and exasperation about my concerns in regard to the scratches and tire light. Edited to 5 stars. Steve Matthews righted the wrong and I want to give a shout out to Pete at the service shop as well as his crew for fixing it in 15 minutes. More
