Thank you for the outstanding service I purchased a vehicle about 5 months ago (October 2019). I scheduled the first oil change and the service noticed the VVT actuators were bad and leaki I purchased a vehicle about 5 months ago (October 2019). I scheduled the first oil change and the service noticed the VVT actuators were bad and leaking oil. The problem was fixed with out charging me even though you could have. It was recognized that it should have beeb fixed before I purchased the vehicle. It's this kind of outstanding service that will lead me to purchasing my next vehicle from Matthews Motors. Quality of work is very good. The only thing that needs to change is for the service desk to keep the customer informed, especially if work will not be completed when expected. I was very uneasy buying a new car because I’ve had bad experiences in the past at dealerships who’s main goals were making sales instead of the quality of their cars or the customers. NOT HERE! At Matthew’s I genuinely feel that the number one priority is the customer. From the second I drove up everyone was extremely kind. Once I got out of my car a gentleman walked up to help me and I told him I had an appointment with Keith Woodward. He took me in and introduced me to Keith and right away Keith dropped everything and gave me his undivided attention. He didn’t push anything on me or pressure me into buying, instead he asked me what it was that I wanted. He was very patient because I was extremely indecisive and wanted to see the inside and test drive multiple cars and sometimes even backtracked to cars I had already looked at just to compare and he was very understanding of that. I told him what I wanted for my payments and he pointed me in the direction of all the cars that would keep me in that range, even when I got ahead of myself and started looking at things above my budget he tried to make it work if that’s really what I wanted. At the moment, I have a long commute to work each day so reliability was really my number one priority (although the sport /luxury cars were very tempting lol) so he pointed me back in the best direction for my initial range. While test driving the cars Mr. Woodward would even turn the radio down/off just to assure me each car was quiet and ran smooth. The quality of their cars are definitely pristine and they have so many options to choose from so if you’re looking for a gently used car in immaculate condition, this is the place to go! When it came to the paperwork and talking numbers, I had Ken Tanaka. Ken was extremely upbeat, honest, knowledgeable and confident when talking about the company, their cars and while doing his work. He explained everything thoroughly and if I had a question about something, he didn’t brush it off just to get a signature. Im fact, he would not even move forward until I fully understood and was comfortable with what he explained. I thank both of these guys so much because they really changed the way I look at car buying. I will definitely recommend and I will be coming back here if I ever decide to purchase another vehicle.
