The Allen Family has been serving the automotive market on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1971! Allen Automotive started with Mr. Bert Allen who first opened GMC and Pontiac dealerships in Gulfport, MS in 1971. He then acquired Mercedes Benz and Isuzu throughout the 70s. He and his son David Allen opened Bert Allen Toyota in 1987 with David Allen as General Manager. By 2001, David Allen had fully purchased the Toyota franchise and renamed it Allen Toyota. David Allen then acquired the Hyundai franchise in 2003. In 2007, the Allen family saw a shift of generations. Mr. Bert Allen retired from the business completely and David Allen’s son Scott Allen joined the management team at Allen Automotive. In 2017, Scott Allen purchased Allen Hyundai from the Estate of David Allen after bidding against multiple other regional dealers.
This is a family business. Scott and Andria Allen run the store together with Scott as the GM and Andria as the Controller. Absolutely amazing From the moment I pulled up, the experience was great. My salesman greeted me and my family members who tagged along and asked us insightful questions From the moment I pulled up, the experience was great. My salesman greeted me and my family members who tagged along and asked us insightful questions without being too aggressive. We did a few inspections and a test drive and when we weren't sure, the salesman offered us his card and cell phone number. We needed up returning after visiting a few other car dealerships and I'm pleased to say that I think my Hyundai was a great decision and I have no regrets. I recommend my car to everyone I meet, it's fabulous. The sales experience was just as pleasant and comfortable. The sales rep even offered to stay in touch afterwards and that was very kind. Overall, 10/10. More

Problem with interest rate offered I was given in an offer from Buddy, the sales manager of 1.89%. But the next day when I signed the paperwork the finance manager had 3.94% on the pape I was given in an offer from Buddy, the sales manager of 1.89%. But the next day when I signed the paperwork the finance manager had 3.94% on the paperwork . I questioned it and finally told me the best he could do was 3.04%. After leaving the dealership I felt like I had been scammed. I will not buy another Hyundai because of this. More
